CHAITANYA SAMARPAN DHYAN MAHASHIBIR – 7th to 9th November 2012, PUNADI, KUTCH, GUJARAT

I left home for office after taking my mothers’ blessings. From office I left for Bandra Terminus at 1.45pm after lunch. Shri Ramnath Kamath was not coming, hence Shri Anant Khamankar requested me to take Shri Jeyateerth Mevundi, the classical vocalist instead. I picked up Shri Pravin Purav at Andheri and then we left for the station. I met Mrs. Bharati Kumar from Bangalore and she too was in our compartment. We had a lot of fun travelling as Dr. Ishnath Singh was also in the next berth itself, so we had a good collectivity of positive souls in the compartment. The TC who came was so humble and nice - he did not ask for a single ID card from the sadhaks! At Ahmedabad at around midnight, Shri Hemant Ramani and Shri Harish Rao boarded the train and joined us. We reached Bhuj at exactly 7.45am and took the pre-arranged bus to Punadi Ashram, Bhuj. We reached the Ashram at 9am and completed the registration formalities. We went to our allotted beds and then went for a cold shower. The weather was beautiful, nice and cold….very pleasant. As we were early, after our bath we visited the sahitya stall, looked around, then had an early lunch and relaxed in the tent.

The background to the stage was beautiful setting with a clear blue sky with a couple of clouds and cranes in full flight. The backdrop was green marshland with a cerulean river flowing in the foreground with cranes fishing and standing in the waters. There were a couple of cranes standing on either side of the seating area too.

The opening ceremony took place between 3-4 pm and we had taken our seats in the main function tent by 2.45pm. Pujya Gurudev and Pujya Guruma entered the tent to the sound of loud claps and a very warm and loving welcome by all those present to the Shiv and Shakti of modern times. A welcome speech was given by the Managing Trustee which was followed by the lighting of the lamps ceremony by leaders of different religions. Pujya Gurudevs fourth volume of ‘Himalaya ka Samarpan Yog’ was launched by Pujya Guruma who told us that this book has so much energy and is written at such a high level, because of which it has taken such a long time to be released after it was first written. After this those who were sitting for the havan ceremony were asked to leave and the others were asked to stay back and listen to an audio discourse of Pujya Swamiji. As I left for the havan kund, I saw sadhaks walking out with HKSY-4 – I too went in and purchased my copy and then went to the havan kund – good I did as the entire stock was sold out within half an hour! The havan process started at about 4.15pm and went on upto 6pm – there were around 200 participants. As Shri Rambhai and his assistant lead us through the process, there was a gentle and cooling breeze blowing across and also a flow of consciousness which one could feel – felt Swamiji’s subtle presence during the havan. I was thoughtless for the entire duration and the havan was completed in a competent manner with everybody silently participating with the aid of the assistants present at each havan kund. At the end, with Shri Rambhai exhorting us, we loudly hailed Pujya Swamiji, Pujya Guruma, the day’s happiness, and Samarpan Ashram, after which we paid obeisance to the Guru Energies and left with our oblations.

We had dinner and we re-assembled at 7.45pm for the day’s last program which was the classical song program of Shri Jeyateerth Mevundi. Pujya Gurudev and Pujya Guruma entered the hall at exactly 8pm to the sound of consistent clapping and took their designated seats. Dr Paras Bhatt and Smt. Atal Sharma who were compeering the event gave detailed information on classical songs. Dr Paras Bhatt announced that the singer was on his way and he would arrive at any moment. As time passed, it was the sheer skill and knowledge of the duo that held our attention for such a long time. There was a comment that with the kind of information which was given by these two, one could get a PhD in Music!! Shri Mevundi and his team took stage after paying obeisance to Pujya Gurudev and Pujya Guruma at 8.40pm. We later came to know that the sadhak who was to pick up Shri Mevundi sat for the havan program and hence was delayed. Shri Mevundi started his program with Raag Marwa and sang in such a mellifluous voice to the accompaniment of divine music on the tabla, pakhawaj, harmonium that we were left spellbound. There was great energy flowing from Pujya Gurudev and a couple of abhangs on Sant Dnyaneshwar left us with tears in our eyes. The music and the singing were truly divine as the energy flowed in cold waves – I was left totally thoughtless and mesmerized by the quality of singing and the music. Swamiji had given instructions to let him sing as long as he wanted – he sang non-stop for two hours and the program concluded at 10.45pm. We wanted it to go through the night, but all good things do come to an end – but this music will remain in my heart for a long time to come. Thanks to all the organizers for showering us with such an amazing performance by a young and skilled vocalist. The days’ program ended with Shanti Path after which we freshened up and retired for the day at around 11.15pm.

Next morning I woke up refreshed at 2.30am and went for a bath – woke up Harish along the way. I had a nice, ice cold water bath and came back and was just about to sit down for meditation when a couple of sadhikas came calling for volunteers to do Gurukarya of sorting of rose petals for Pujya Gurudev. So for an hour Harish and I went for this Gurukarya which stopped at 4.15am as the time for the same was up. We went back to our bedding – Harish went for his Yoga session and I sat down to meditate. At 5.45am we went to the main tent for morning meditation. Shri Rambhai started the days’ program with Guru Ahavan mantra, followed by Guru Mantra and then meditation from 6am to 7am. There was great energy and a very soothing and calm atmosphere as about 3000 sadhaks sat down for meditation. After the meditation, an announcement came about the imminent entry of Pujya Gurudev and Pujya Guruma. Before the sound of the conch shells one could feel the energy of Shiv and Shakti as they neared the tent, and then the conch shells announced their arrival. As they took their seats to the sound of loud clapping, we waited in anticipation for Pujya Gurudev’s discourse to commence at 7am.

The discourse began……“Welcome to all pious souls….today we have all gathered together to celebrate the festival of the manifstation of the medium of Universal Consciousness. The birth of any medium or the creation of any medium of universal consciousness, are both extraordinary events – this is the reason why the birth and death anniversaries of Saints are celebrated. It appears to be a beginning and an end. But at the universal consciousness level there is no beginning and no end – every end is a new beginning. Similarly, the birth of such a medium had taken place 700-800 years ago – that medium in his small life-span wrote the “Dnyaneshwari”. The medium daily pours universal consciousness – that is why he is beyond the body, knowledge! You cannot measure Him in any manner. In society, when there was darkness for all those years, there was hopelessness all round – in such a period of darkness the birth of a medium took place, and that medium wrote a book – this was beyond the knowledge and belief of those times and hence was not understood and thus was banned in those days. For the first time He had given a new direction to society saying that God is one and is within you – ‘Kundalini shakti’ is within you and by awakening it you can go beyond the body. On its awakening what benefits accrue has been described in great detail – but in those days the Brahmins did not have this knowledge – he tried giving a new direction to the Brahmins, hence ‘Dnyaneshwari’s’ sixth chapter was banned, and people were asked not to read it and if they chose to read it they were told not to ask them questions as they did not have the knowledge. In that chapter kundalini and self realisation have been described in detail along with the benefits – but nothing was written about how it is to be awakened. It does not mean that He did not have the knowledge, He had the knowledge, but each medium of the time has His limitations. He stays within His limits and does his work (karya). The work for which He was created – He does that work – this is pre-decided. Thus, He took birth, and in His lifetime, the work He was given – awakening people and spreading new knowledge and hope, a new ray of hope which He gave society of that time – He did that perfectly. How to awaken people was not His work – He did not do it. This does not mean that He did not have the knowledge – He had! He had prayed that a time will come when all pure souls will collectively aim for liberation - this was decided 7-800 years ago. The time-span in which we are living was described 7-800 years ago. When any event of universal consciousness occurs in society then efforts to achieve that end also commence. He had then desired that a society of pure souls should be created who are beyond race, religion, caste, creed and color. This was a solid prayer and this prayer was heard by universal consciousness and in the Himalayas, the sages then commenced efforts to make this possible. Experience was obtained and then increased manifold, kept alive and transferred from generation to generation. Not only was it given to the next generation, but also the promise that it will be taken to society was kept alive, and to create a medium who will do so. Experience and knowledge are two ends – those who obtain experience could not come to society to give experience – their state was such that they could not move from where they were. Those who talked about knowledge did not get any experience as their knowledge was based on books. All knowledge was taken by reading one or the other book – knowledge and experience were two ends, hence the Guru Energies wished that such a medium be created who would be in a body but yet be ‘no-body’ – because till such time that one does not become empty, innocent, pure, till such time that a medium is created who does not have any existence of his own who can be used as they wish, who can give the message to society in the manner in which it is to be given – such an empty, innocent medium was created by the Guru Energies and only then the message of liberation, experience reached society. Look, the medium has been created in time – the medium of that time was according to those times – today’s medium is as per current times and conditions. Mediums can appear different externally, but internally they are one - a dream of world peace – in this endeavour every man should understand himself to be a part of that peaceful world. Any prayer, any work begun by any medium never remains incomplete – universal consciousness makes it successful through some medium or the other. Thus today we have gathered together to celebrate the ‘Day of Appearance’ of such a medium. Everything depends upon your belief. From my childhood I believed myself to be a pure and chaste soul. Hence with my 50 years experience I can tell you that what I have got, you too can get, whatever you believe of yourself, universal consciousness will fulfill as it is spread in every atom. Liberation is also a belief – I will explain this by means of a story.”

“Once 4 friends left for Kailash Parbat with the wish for obtaining liberation; they had heard that in a cave on Kailash Parbat a Yogi was sitting in the liberated state and they believed that if they reached that yogi they too would be able to get the same state. These 4 friends left their Ashram and reached a city which had a library with ancient books. The first student read a book which said that after circumambulating Kailash Parbat four times one gets liberated, he believed this and accepted it for a fact in his mind. The second student took a book which said that after circumambulating Kailash Parbat two times one gets liberated, he too believed this and accepted it for a fact in his mind. Third student took a book which said that after circumambulating Kailash Parbat once one gets liberated, he too believed this and accepted it for a fact in his mind. The fourth was uneducated and as they reached Kailash Parbat and according to their fixed beliefs the first three went about circumambulating Kailash Parbat and then got liberated. The fourth student being uneducated went straight to the yogi who told the student to go and he obtained liberated immediately. What was said then may not be true today. So experience and belief is paramount – depends on what you believe. Yesterday Guruma launched HKSY-4 in that book the time spent with Jain saints has been described. But my experience there was different from that spent with Jain Munis in society. One Jain had told munis of his path and told them that liberation can be obtained. This depends upon one’s belief – their beliefs were different then and now it is different too. This is book is being published four years after it was written. Greater the vibrations, the more difficult it is in having it published. It could not be published till the Gurus desired it - this is not in my hands. You will not receive it until your condition is ok, let alone read it! I told the Jain parivar that if it thinks that something is inappropriate it will be removed, they said that there is nothing inappropriate! The ‘Navkar mantra’ is described in such detail, they asked me how I had written with such attention to detail – I said I did not know. When I was with various Gurus in the Himalayas, I was 100% with each one of them, hence knowledge was transferred automatically. This happened very subtly and knowledge was transferred automatically, this happened not only for ‘Navkar mantra’ but also for ‘Ganpati Atharvashirsha’ – this too came automatically.”

“The word ‘authorised’ has great meaning in spirituality – I did not impart the knowledge to the Jains till I was authorised to do so. When doing such authorised work it gives great pleasure. Energies of 65 Jain munis are working at a subtle level, hence I have dedicated this book to the Jain munis and now it gives me great pleasure to conduct shibirs for them as they have already reached a certain stage. They just have to cross one stage. Many times after meeting them there are some such matters which I can say in front of them but not in front of you. A Jain desired that I meet him, so I went to meet him as he desired it, such a meeting took place recently in which a point of interest to you was discussed. I told him that it is 12 years since I have come to society and in 12 years, twelve Guru Purnimas have taken place but such a change has not occurred in the sadhaks. For the photograph to be good, the photographer’s condition as well as that of his subject has to be good. We celebrate Guru Purnima with feeling say give me the state of Paramatma, and I feel I am Parmatma, but with this what should occur does not – but that is of no use as you have to come as a soul. You come with problems, problems are connected with the mind and the minds with the body, so when you come as a body nothing happens, please participate as a soul. If even a few people understand this, great change will take place. This just becomes ‘karma-kand’ (rituals), if after Guru Purnima no change has occurred, then the Guru Purnima is a waste. During Guru Purnima at the soul level a subtle change takes place, and if this has not happened, then it is of no use. I told the Jain muni my problem, Samarpan Meditation is an ordination. I spoke with him for two hours, this is the experience of knowledge, then only you can understand your Guru, your religion, your race, etc. and this knowledge is beyond religion, race, caste, etc. Anyone can experience it. Gurus specialty is that whatever a Guru gets, he cannot keep it, he distributes all his joy amongst his sadhaks. I was made to stay at Jinalaya, day before yesterday, when I was there I recognised all the energy centers, then I told Jain sadhaks to organise a shibir once over there so that the Jain’s could get both practical as well as theoretical knowledge. Better come to Jinalaya and learn with me then you will know. I am not a Jain, but I still came to know what that means, this means that vibrations do not understand religion, language, etc. It is like radio frequency, a radio is not limited by the boundaries of a country, all the transistor needs to have is a battery for it to receive, else it remains just a box. Your transistor needs to have a good battery and antenna to receive the radio waves to listen to a program, similarly you need to be in a good receiving position to enjoy the vibrations."

"All the Gurus I met were not limited by religion, hence I too am not limited by religion – I wish that once in your life you participate in the Guru Purnima function as a soul. Do not come with questions, problems, etc. – these are at the physical level. Come as a soul - for one year practice that you are a soul. Someone is also operating me, you know enough of energy, chakras, aura etc. Now a new mantra has been designed for you – say “I am a pure soul, I am a chaste soul” and keep repeating this to yourself during your meditation – throughout the day if required - who will say “I am a bad soul”? This is the game of the Guru Energies, they keep on playing games. What words come from are not important, but their effect is important. Why has this happened? This is because our faith in the Guru Mantra is not 100%, hence it does not have any effect. It is as powerful, but now you are being tried in another manner. You are not fit for the Guru Mantra, hence a new way is being made for you, first you need to become capable of receiving from the Guru Mantra! First you have to become pure, then only you will start receiving - the Guru Energies are trying to make you capable of receiving the Guru Mantra.”

"Getting a post has no meaning if there is no change within. Gurukarya will take place only if you meditate regularly. This because of the good effects of past births, if you meditate regularly then you will remain stable. You can take the example of Rambhai. Meditation is permanent, people around me keep changing, they come with their good karmas and go after spending them – I am just a witness and cannot do anything. Like a powerhouse – if you touch a wrong point you get a shock. This is natural, and it will happen. This book has mentioned how we can get rid of the ego. Do a drama daily about being a pure soul. You will definitely experience one effect, your surroundings will change, you will free yourself of physical problems. If you believe yourself to be a soul, then you will become a soul. Average life-span of a human is 80 years – your body has crossed the age of 40, your body will be saying to you that I am destructible as various body parts start paining – your knees, your back, etc. He laughingly mentioned that even those parts which you feel should work stop working! After 40 you should start detaching yourself and start becoming a soul. After the age of 40 if you want to be happy live as a soul and not as a body. Meditate regularly, meditate in collectivity."

"Sant Dnyaneshwar, 7-800 years ago, by staying in society had shown that the path to liberation was through collectivity. If you want to do this alone, go to the Himalayas, if you want to remain in society, go in collectivity – the choice is yours. Whenever you get a chance of collectivity do not miss it. This year was the ‘Year of Teachers’, hence you organised a lot of shibirs for teachers and tried to spread the message of experience. Because if the message reaches the teacher, then it reaches thousands of students through the teacher. If one teacher is awakened, he can awaken thousands of students. Next year is the ‘Year of the Doctor’. Doctor is an important pillar of society; he is not awakened about his condition. Half the doctors are patients – they should be awakened about the state of their health so that they stay healthy and secure their patients health. Today, faith on doctors has reduced. If the doctor becomes a soul, then the patients’ soul will have faith on the doctors’ soul (not doctor-patient at the physical level). Doctors die of diseases in which they have specialized (heart, cancer, liver, etc). You wash yourself with soap, but what about the ‘chitta’, who will clear that? These people require a separate collectivity; they need a different kind of energy which will balance them. They are careless about their own health and through meditation they should be awakened about their own health. ‘Doctor’ as a pillar of society should be strengthened. We will give them a message to join prayer along with medicine, so that the chitta is purified with prayer and thus it does not affect the doctor’s health. He has to connect prayer with medicine, so that the doctor and patient both benefit. Hence 2013 is the ‘Year of the Doctor’."

"We are celebrating the day of manifesttion of a medium of universal consciousness today. Actually the medium has been created through the wish of universal consciousness and this is why that medium is beyond all limitations of boundary, religion, race, language, etc. He does not have any existence, he is pure and innocent, this is the reason why universal consciousness through his medium does the work of awakening society, giving it knowledge and it also propagates the knowledge of experience. Experience and knowledge, happening through our body is not possible, because knowledge is mind which is connected to the body and experience is soul and soul is God. There is no difference between soul and God – the gap is in our understanding. A sun’s ray is entering our house and if our doors and windows are closed, we think that this is different from the sun, but if we open the doors/windows and come out we realise that the sun and the sun’s rays are one and the same. Similarly when you leave the body, you realise that you and God are one and the same. We did not recognise, start looking for God within, stop looking outside – self-realisation without a living Guru is impossible. Without self-realisation, religious awakening is not possible – external can be awakened, but not the internal. Till you are not awakened from within, till then spiritual freedom is not possible. It all depends upon your thinking. If you believe that you will get liberation in this birth, then you definitely will. Knock for ten minutes on God’s door and you will get liberation – is what Sant Dnyaneshwar had said 7-800 year ago, and with this pure wish, my salutations to all of you."

After Pujya Gurudev’s discourse we had a breakfast break and then reconvened in the hall for Pujya Gurudevs birthday celebrations (Praakatya Din). After that was the unveiling of a birthday message for Pujya Gurudev and then the birthday cake was cut and Pujya Guruma tried to feed Pujya Gurudev who took the piece in his hands and ate it with a beatific smile. The comperes were announcing surprises all the time and then suddenly fireworks took place with rose petals being showered. As Gurudev vibrated the cakes, the gathering sang the birthday song “Tum jiyo hazaron saal…..Happy Birthday to you…..” and then blasts took place all over the tent with confetti and chocolates being showered on all the participants. Pujya Guruma announced that 58 surprise gifts were to be given by selection by lottery of the counterfoils of the ID cards to be picked by Pujya Guruma in front of all the participants. Pujya Guruma picked these and Mrs. Sharmila Patil announced the names to the sound of claps. At the end, one extra was selected, and Pujya Guruma said 59 have been selected and all the gifts will be given at the end of the day. Pujya Guruma said that the day one is born can be considered as one and then the 58 completed years, hence 59 gifts will be distributed.

Pujya Gurudev then read out a message to Doctors which would be used for propagation. Pujya Gurudev said that Dr. Sachapara will be the President for organizing all functions for doctors. Then He announced that Shri Rambhai was being made the President of Dandi Ashram so that He could then concentrate on development of Rajkot and Kutch Ashrams. He also said that the Newasa and Pune Mahadhyans will be in Marathi. He also said that during the Gahan Dhyan Anushthan at Dandi will have Rajkot Ashram in His chitta. He said that the next ‘Mangal Murti’ will be headed to Melbourne, Australia. He also announced that the development in Punadi Ashram was to start as ‘NA’ approval had been obtained. He said that Shri Kumar Makadia was being given an extension for another 3 years as Managing Trustee of SSSAT.

We invoked the Guru Energies to be present and we were given lamps to light with which we performed Gurudev’s Arati with about 3000 lamps creating a beautiful scene amongst chanting of the Arati with great feeling. After that the Guru Energies were thanked for being present and they were then respectfully sent off. After that we chanted the Shanti Path and then Pujya Guruma left the ‘sabha mandap’. The ‘namaskar vidhi’ commenced after that at around 11.25am. Row by row in silence the sadhaks were asked to come forward and pay their obeisance to the ‘padukas’ surrendering whatever they wished to at His Lotus Feet. As the ‘paduka naman’ program commenced, Smt. Sumangala Khamankars’ bhajan started which moved me to tears – there was a beautiful flow of energy – my eyes were shut, body swaying to the music and tears dripping down my cheeks. After Smt. Khamankars bhajans Shri Chirantan Brahmachari sang his bhajans with great feeling. By 12.15 I had paid obeisance and left the ‘sabha mandap’ for the lunch break. After lunch, Harish and I went to see the exhibitions which had good energy levels. The ayurvedic exhibition was very informative; the exhibition showing various photographs of functions/programs was also very nice – cold vibrations were emanating from the Surat Mahadhyan photograph. Meditation and nature was also good, where the benefits of connecting with nature were explained and you were made to experience a short meditation session with nature, where a tape of birds chirping, river water running etc was playing soothingly in the background. After this we visited the Guru Shaktidham and sat for meditation. As I was entering a thoughtless state a sadhak came and sat next to me, cleared his throat loudly, and while sitting his knee hit my knee, jerking me out of meditation – I quietly got up and stood in line for taking ‘prasad’ and then left for the residential tent to relax.

In the tent we met Shri Khamankar, who we requested to come and take the bed between Puravji and myself as it was vacant. We sat chatting and sharing experiences till about 3.45pm when we went and took our seats in the ‘sabha mandap’. At 4pm the program started with Shri Jayesh Pandit giving information on Samarpan Sahitya. He told us that Samarpan Sahitya is now available in Braille, new books launched ‘Saanidhya’, calendar for 2013, HKSY-4, and the future plans about books to be launched. He shared his experience which he got while printing HKSY-4. He said that it was only with Guru’s Grace that this holy book was printed within such a short span of time with all hurdles being overcome as if by magic. This he said was all done by Pujya Gurudev.

At 4.30pm the evening session started with Guru Ahavan followed by Pujya Guruma’s discourse. She started her discourse with an inspirational story. There was an idol maker who was very renowned and famous - he had a son who had also joined his father’s profession. The son used to make beautiful idols and come to his father for approval and his father used to always find faults with his creation. Whenever his son came to the father – the father always found faults and the son used to go away disappointed. He started thinking he could never satisfy his father so he decided to show his next creation to his friend who was also a great sculptor. His friend said it was very good, so the son requested his friend to show it to his father as his own creation. His friend took the idol and went to show it to the son’s dad – and the son’s dad started praising the idol saying that it was such a beautiful, perfect creation. The son who was in the other room on hearing his father’s praise came out and said that he had made the idol and just wanted to see for himself if the father criticized this creation if it was presented by another. The father then told his son that he always found faults to ensure that his son did not develop an ego, as the ego would destroy his art. Pujya Guruma said Swamiji is also like that, he tries to correct you all the time, he knows everything. Then she narrated the story of Akbar and Birbal. Once Akbar told Birbal that he should try to create a domestic fight between him and his Begum. Birbal said why should he do this, Akbar said just to see if we are really capable of fighting. Birbal said ok, and let it go. A few months later he told Akbar that his Guru who was a great sage was coming to visit him and Birbal would require a months leave to look after him, as either his wife or he would have to be with the Guru always and someone would need to be at home. Akbar gave his permission and Birbal went on leave. Soon news came to the palace that Birbals Guru was a great sage and he accurately told everyone about themselves and gave them solutions to their problems – they said that the sage had knowledge about past lives and about the future too. On hearing this, Akbar and his Begum decided to visit the sage. First the Begum went inside and she was impressed with his knowledge and experience and the solutions he provided to all her questions. She then said that she would like to know about her past life, the sage refused to say anything and said that it was against his principle to tell anyone about their past lives. She then convinced him to tell her about Akbars past life – he said that Akbar was a common labourer in his past life. She refused to believe him and argued with him – so the sage said I told you it is o use – if you want to believe then it is fine or you may let it go. The Begum then left and Akbar entered. The same routine followed and Akbar too asked to know about his Begum’s previous birth. After much convincing the sage told Akbar that his Begum was a bitch in her last life – on hearing this Akbar was upset and argued with the sage – the sage again said if you want to believe it fine, else let it go. So akbar also left in a disturbed state of mind. As he came out he was told by his guards that a tiger had attacked and eaten villagers in a village in the kingdom and the tiger needed to be killed as it had tasted human blood. Akbar left along with his soldiers on horseback and after successfully hunting down and killing the tiger he reached his palace very late at night. He was wet with sweat and as it was very late he decided to just change and go directly to bed. The Begum was already in bed and on seeing Akbar entering the room, she pretended to be fast asleep. Akbar too lay down, but because he had not had a wash a faint odour of sweat started disturbing the Begum – she got up and started sniffing at Akbars body – so Akbar angrily got up and said ‘go away you bitch’. At this the Begum was upset and said you go away you common labourer. Over this they had a bitter fight and then refused to look at each other for the next few days. After the period of 30 days had elapsed Birbal came back to the palace and saw that both Akbar and his Begum were not on speaking terms. It was then that he reminded Akbar about his challenge and told him that the sage was no other than Birbal himself. Akbar was astonished and then laughed out loud and made peace with his Begum. It is always the ego which gives way to anger and fights hence it is necessary to be egoless.

Pujya Guruma went on to tell us not to limit ourselves to center, city, country, etc but to become global citizens. She announced that on 25th December a Stree Shakti Mahashibir will be held at Ajmer. She said that the chitta of women was divided amongst various members of the family – and for doing this they require more support and strength – they require guidance and hence this shibir was going to be held. She explained the meaning of Gurukarya and liberation and told us to keep our slate clean and daily surrender our karma’s at His Lotus Feet. She mentioned that each on should give birth to a son – not physical – but give birth to a soul, to awaken another person. Even if one inspires someone to have his soul awakened, this karma is redeemed, and as Guru Dakshina everyone has to do it – at least inspire one person to be awakened. Every drop becomes a river, a river joins the ocean and the Samarpan ocean crosses the door to liberation and does not remain static. Pujya Guruma ended her discourse with a song composed by her “Charano me meri…..” It was a beautiful discourse – very motherly – like the Universal Mother that she is – full of humor and love. We enjoyed her mellifluous discourse with its loving messages.

From 8pm to 8.30pm the Managing Trustees of both the Trusts read out their progress reports. From 8.30pm to 10pm was allotted for cultural programs. Pujya Guruma, followed by Pujya Gurudev entered the ‘sabha mandap’ at 8.40pm. From 8.45pm the 59 gifts were distributed by Pujya Guruma to the lucky winners. There were seven beautiful dances performed by sadhikas/sadhaks as under:
• Kathak dance by Goa sadhikas.
• Saraswati Vandana by Bhavnagar sadhaks in honor of the “Teachers Year’
• A dance by Ajmer sadhikas on “Jab Jab Yuga Parivartan hoga”
• A dance on Lord Krishna was performed by Ahmedabad-Zone II sadhaks
• Vadodara sadhaks performed a dance to a fast beat with good energy levels – “Aap aapke Chaitanya roop dhol bajaye”
• Rajkot sadhaks performed a dance on Lord Krishna – “Vrindavan me Gopi aayo”
• A mime drama was the last program performed by sadhaks from Bharuch. It depicted negativity and its transformation through Samarpan Meditation.
The days’ program ended at 10pm after chanting of the Shanti Path.

I had a sound night’s sleep and woke up exactly at 3am. I woke up Shri Khamankar and Shri Harish and went for a bath. After a very cold shower I came back refreshed and sat chatting with Khamankarji on our various experiences, having some fun, and laughing a lot. We assembled in the ‘sabha mandap’ at 5.45am for the morning meditation. Shri Rambhai started the meditation at exactly 6am with the Guru Ahavan followed by the Guru Mantra. Every time the Guru Ahavan is recited I feel a flow of cold energy around my crown chakra which flows down the rest of my body. After the meditation session we had a breakfast break. From 8.45am onwards it was experience sharing by overseas sadhaks wherein Heiki came along with another German sadhika and helped in narrating her experience with the help of a Hindi translator. The question and answer session with Pujya Gurudev started at 9am.

The question and answers are given in brief below as I was more intent in listening to the answers and have captured the essence of the answers provided by Pujya Gurudev. Ujwala Didi with Pujya Gurudev’s permission started the session with the first question which was:
1) Could medical shibirs be sponsored by pharmaceutical and surgical companies? Swamiji’s answer: There is no trust between doctors and patients. The doctors’ heart chakra gets blocked because of this. The doctor first carries out all kinds of tests and then proceeds with his diagnosis after first legally securing himself. You can take sponsorship from pharmaceutical and surgical companies. He said that one can talk about meditation as well as the company’s products and make a joint effort to make the doctors understand the benefits. Mental and physical health is of paramount importance as all diseases emanate from thoughts. There should be a permanent solution and for a permanent solution the doctors would have to connect with meditation and create a positive aura so that the effect of the aura will benefit his mental health and this positive effect will give positive results to both doctors and patients.
2) What is the benefit and use of the office of the National Organiser? Ans: National Organiser is the soul of Samarpan and both the Trusts are its body. Meditate on National Organiser and you will get the answer. He said that you should not get carried away by any big change in one’s life for the better and one should not get carried away by external change, he said we should go within and flow inside – he repeated, do not get carried away by external change and get disconnected with God. He said that many spiritual leaders make that mistake. (This is a very important answer provided by Pujya Gurudev as I feel it has a subtle message for us. Shri Ambareeshji is the head of National Organiser's office – which would imply that the soul and future of Samarpan is Ambareeshji. These are just my thoughts.)
3) Why do you ask for 3-4 options while making marital match-making? Why do you check chakras while making this decision? Swamiji replied that chakras are checked not for marriage but also for post marital effects. The Guru Energies give a sign that which couple will be ideal and give the most positive results. No boy or girl is perfect, each has deficiencies. While matching one ensures that no two are matched with the same deficiencies as this will have a manifold negative effect. Samarpan Marriage is not just limited to marriage but is also my Guru’s karya and my mission, which is for inviting Guru Shaktis through appropriately stable and spiritually advanced couples.
4) Is it necessary to meditate when one does Gurukarya? How do we come to know when Gurukarya has become “Karya Guru”? Swamiji replied that you should have a pure wish to do Gurukarya. He said that if you have a pure wish to do Gurukarya, you will find Gurukarya anywhere, any time and at any place. Work which the soul performs for God is Gurukarya. First become a soul – leave the physical – and to leave the physical – meditate, then only will you get the feeling of a soul and then only will Gurukarya take place. Are you authorised to do so? “Authorised” has great importance. There can be no individual decision – it has to be a collective effort. Gurukarya should result in spiritual development. Perform Gurukarya along with meditation. Gurukarya is something through which one keeps getting proximity to the Guru as a medium.
5) Is India more spiritually advanced than other countries in the world? Swamiji replied that even though we have had a great history, we do not have present, and our present cannot be good until we stand on our own feet. We go to holy places only with problems and we never ask for strength to face all our problems. Foreign countries do not have a great spiritual history but through various means they have made so much progress that they can recognise aura and have also made machines to capture them. If the Indian spiritual historical and foreign countries current status can be brought together by Samarpan Meditation then it will create a new history.
6) There is so much corruption over here, why do the Himalayan sages not stop this? Do they not know about this? Swamiji replied that the Himalayan Gurus do not think about society. Swamiji cited Tim Hine’s experience at St. Davids shrine in Wales, that when he got the experience he too became thoughtless. The Himalayan sages are active in making the future positive. There is no end to the world - this could mean that all things bad will be eradicated and only good will remain – only positive souls may remain.

With this the question and answer session with Pujya Gurudev ended at 12.15 and we split for the lunch break after Pujya Gurudev and Pujya Guruma left the ‘sabha mandap’. We had a break from 12.15 to 3pm in which we met a lot of sadhaks and relaxed and had some light banter and fun.

From 3pm to 4pm some overseas sadhaks experiences were shared after which information about Madhuchaitanya was given. Then Dr. Sachapara spoke a few words on the forthcoming Doctors Year and his plans for it. Mrs. Sharmila Patil gave her thank you speech before the advent of Pujya Guruma and Pujya Gurudev for the closing message by Pujya Gurudev.

Pujya Gurudev began his closing discourse at exactly 4pm. He said that He was the representative of the Himalayan Gurus who had come to spread the knowledge of experience. This was accomplished by means of shibirs, idols and books. We have reached a stage where if so much progress has taken place outside, then some progress must have definitely taken place inside. To know this progress it is necessary for us to go within. We cannot do that unless a Guru who has gone inside does not come into our life – it is possible only after that. Some spiritual discipline (ordination) has to take place – some sadhaks still eat non-vegetarian even after 6-7 years! That means that the event which should have taken place has not occurred, you are still connected because of physical, economical and other benefits and not because of internal change – which is invaluable – this should have happened but it has not. Is it possible or not to get the state of Brahma, the environment of Brahma? By creating such a condition it makes us unstable- then we cannot use our energy with single minded focus. We cannot find a solution at the mental or material level because we are 50% good and 50% bad. This will not give any result and time is moving on. Let go of the thought that we may or may not get the state of liberation. Then that topic also ends. Surrender to the Guru – whatever happens will happen with the Guru’s wishes – and His desire is to take everybody.

Guru Purnima is the day when it can take you across with little effort as all the Guru Energies are present. But you have to become “able” and then attend the program. Once you do that one day can transform you and give you the state of liberation. Time is running out and there is less time for meditative practice also. Use your time fruitfully – attend as a soul in your body, and not in other’s body (Swamiji says this while laughing)! Consider the forthcoming Guru Purnima as an exam. Prepare for it from today onwards – this is your exam to obtain liberation. Study everyday – repeat “I am a pure soul, I am a chaste soul”. The Guru Mantra is powerful but you are not fit for it.

Once you reach a certain change you will see physical changes – you will get the fragrance of roses, sandalwood, you will hear the celestial sound, celestial bells. You will have few thoughts, you will not get negative thoughts of others, you will go inwards and so many changes will take place that you won’t think about others – you will become thoughtless. Mentally you will be at peace, you will be satisfied. Economically also you will be satisfied as the Guru Energies (like mothers’ milk) will provide you with your requirements, you will not have to ask for anything. Spiritually your body will submit to the soul – the soul will control the body. Once you reach a state and connect with Universal Consciousness, you become a medium, and when you talk about Samarpan Meditation, however educated your audience it listens with rapt attention. Why is this? This is because the literature is ‘living’ – the Guru Energies have descended and are flowing through you – you then become a pure medium. You have been born with this wish – I am just blowing the dust away. You will reach the state of liberation – it is my guarantee – just come for Guru Purnima as a soul once! It is difficult but not impossible. My wish is that you all should see the Guru Darbar at the next Guru Purnima. Attend in “silence” and see, as talk disturbs the chitta. Keep trying regularly from today onwards. My wish is that you attend the next Guru Purnima as pure souls and obtain liberation. Namaskar!

After the closing discourse and Shanti Path, the program concluded. As our train was at 10.15pm we helped in removing the bedding and stacking it outside for easy disposal. Then we freshened up, changed clothes and packed our bags. We had dinner at 7pm and collected our ‘prasad’ on surrendering our identity cards. We took the 8pm bus and arrived at Bhuj station at around 8.45pm. We chatted and had a lot of fun at the station. We boarded the train at 10pm, Puravji managed to get Mrs Bharati Kumar accommodated with Pune sadhaks in coach S1. We had our tickets examined and confirmed by the TC by 11pm. The TC - Mr. Vijaykrishnan - was told about Pujya Gurudev's birthday celebrations, we gave him a copy of Madhuchaitanya, showed him Pujya Gurudev's subtle body photo, and he expressed a desire to join Samarpan - we all pray that he connects with Pujya Gurudev and joins Samarpan family athe earliest. We retired for the night and from 7pm the next day till we reached Borivali we had great fun. We had Smt Sumangala Khamankar, Anant Khamankar, Pravin Purav, Dr. Ishnath Singh, Mrs. Deepa Sawant, Mrs, Prabha Rao, Ms. Vrinda Nayak, Ms. Kajal Singh and Ms. Rajashri with us. Sumangalaji sang her bhajans with great feeling, Dr Ishnath Singh recited his couplets based on HKSY-1. He is re-writing the entire HKSY series in the form of couplets without changing Swamiji’s words. At the recital there was great energy. There was lot of laughter and leg pulling and wholesome fun which kept are spirits up and heart chakra clear. The entire journey got over very fast and we reached Bandra Terminus at 2.15pm. As usual, I left with the feeling that three days ended too quickly, and that the event should never end. We are extremely fortunate to be living in the proximity of a divine medium of God. I pray to the Guru Energies that everyone becomes a pure soul and attends Guru Purnima next year, and at least some of us receive the state of liberation.

My humble thanks to all the sadhaks and the organizers for once again presenting us with very good facilities and a smooth and well oiled function which went without any hustle or bustle. God and Gurudev bless all.

GURU PURNIMA – KUTCH SAMARPAN ASHRAM – 2ND TO 4TH JULY 2012

_/\_ || JAI BABA SWAMI || _/\_ I left home at 2pm after taking my mother’s customary blessings for Bandra Terminus. I reached Bandra Terminus at 2.30pm. The train was at the station and one could see a lot of familiar faces boarding the train, which was probably full of sadhaks. I entered the compartment and when I went to my seat I saw that Harish Rao had already arrived. The train left at 3.05pm instead of 2.50pm. Just before it left I got a thought that should I get down and push the train, as that thought crossed my mind, I got a call from Ramnath Kamath and the first thing he said was, “train ko dhakka marne aaun kya?” (should I come to push the train). It reached Borivali at 3.30pm wherein Ramnath Kamath, Pravin Purav and Deepak Tandon joined us. We were discussing the state of the country, politics etc and then the discussion veered to spiritual experiences. A lady from Dadar center – Deepa Sawant – was sitting in the aisle seat and who joined in the discussions. As the experiences were being shared the energy level palpably increased and I looked across at Deepak Tandon as I had got a whiff of sandalwood fragrance, he asked are you getting the fragrance and I said yes, as I said that Deepa and Harish also concurred by that time the cubicle was awash with sandalwood fragrance and Ramnath said that he was getting just a whiff. We continued general talks and after having a dinner made of multiple snacks, we went to sleep at around 9.30pm. I woke up at 6am and freshened up. The others followed suit. We reached Bhuj at 8am and booked bus tickets, Pravin had already got his through the Juhu center. His bus had already left and we were asked to take bus no.10, which we found out was fully packed. The sun was out and it was extremely hot even in that early morning sun! We went and sat down on the staircase of a shop which had not yet opened. We were waiting for about half an hour and collectively decided to return the tickets and take a cab. As I walked along with Deepak to return the tickets, Subhash Shelar from Ambuja called out my name and asked me to get onto the bus – I told him we were five, he said they would adjust. I got into the bus, Pravin got a seat at the back, and I was standing as the bus started moving. There was activity on the row next to where I was standing, and the gentleman made place for me to sit – saying that I had given him and other sadhaks a lift from Dandi to Eru Road once. I have done this on quite a few occasions and I did not remember, but as the saying goes – one good turn deserves another! We reached the Ashram at around 9.10am and got ourselves registered at the registration counter, went to the residential tent and found my bed. I changed and went to freshen up and have a bath. After the bath I was relaxing alone on my bed when a group of Bhandup sadhaks came. I had dry snacks with me like banana chips etc which I opened up and had the lot completed and polished with the young group from Bhandup. Lots of jokes and leg pulling was taking place in a feeling of great camaraderie. After waiting for Harish for quite some time, I decided to go out alone as it was quite hot and musty in the residential tent. When I got out and was strolling about and soaking in the atmosphere I saw the poster showing directions to the Guru Shaktidham. I decided to visit the Shaktidham. As I entered the dham, my eyes fell on the Murti, I felt a surge of love well up inside me with my eyes becoming watery, the Murti was so beautiful with energy flowing from it. I could feel my hands go cold followed by my whole body as I paid obeisance and moved on. As I got out I met Dr. Ishnath Singh who gave me a bear-hug, and went for lunch with him at around noon. After lunch we sat down in the cool breeze, out in the open. Dr. Ishnath Singh told me to change my bed as there was enough space with 5 sadhaks from Vasai center not making it to the festival. I changed from H5-36 to I6-63 with Harish coming in at 64. We slept for some time and then went to freshen up – as we were walking towards the washing area I mentioned to Dr. Singh there is going to be a special message which one should be alert enough to catch in Pujya Gurudev’s opening discourse. He agreed and while we were saying this we got the fragrance of roses with my crown chakra going cold. We then entered the sabha mandap with the stage background having a village setting showing huts on either side of Pujya Gurudev’s throne, with blue sky in the backdrop and took our seats on the mattress. We bowed down and prayed to the Guru Energies present in the sabha mandap. The function started at 4pm with chanting of the Guru Ahavan along with Shri Rambhai followed by the Guru mantra and then meditation for 15 minutes. With the chanting of the Guru mantra cold vibrations from the feet upwards commenced. After the meditation Dr Paras Bhat and Ms Hema Virkar took their positions as masters of the ceremony. In their inimitable style they announced the arrival of Pujya Guruma and Pujya Gurudev to the accompaniment of sound of conches being blown. As Pujya Gurudev took His seat, it was announced that Samarpan Meditation respects all religions and the Samarpan family has members from all religions. Saints from different religions were called for the lighting of the lamp ceremony starting with Pujya Chanduma, followed by Pujya Jayshree Devi, Father Johnson, Sri Gyani Manjitsinghji and last but not least Maulana Yasin Mastakalandar. After the lamp was lit, they were all honored with respect by shawls being presented by the Managing Trustee Smt. Sharmila Patilji. After this it was announced that the Presidents message to YPBSST and SSAT will be officially opened. This was done by Shri Anuragji who read out the Presidents message which felicitated and gave the President Smt Pratibha Patil’s greetings and good wishes for Samarpan Meditation and its work. After this, Makar Sankranti 2012 Guruma’s discourse CD, Mahashivaratri 2012 Pujya Gurudevs discourse CD, Pujya Gurudevs Ajmer discourse booklet in Bengali, Adhyatmic Satya in Marathi and Himalaya ka Samarpan Yog 3 in Bengali were launched. Pujya Guruma felicitated Dr. Basu and his wife for the dedication shown in translation of the third volume into Bengali. At 5.15pm Pujya Gurudev commenced his festival opening discourse. He said that this was a special Gurupurnima which was being held in the proximity of the Gurushaktidham, this is the only GP which was being held for the second time at the same location. This was in answer to the prayer which was offered at the Goa GP saying that the future GP’s should be held on our own land. The benefit of having the GP at the same location could be experienced by all present in the form of increased vibrations and the heights one reaches during meditation. He said that day by day promotion of Samarpan Meditation(SM) is increasing and it has slowly reached 20 states, and hence it has become necessary to bring it all under one roof for which the National Organiser office has been established so that this work can be carried out smoothly. While promoting SM it is necessary for one to know why and for whom we are doing this work. We are doing this because we feel good, happy and blissful – when we do this for our own happiness/joy/bliss we do it without any expectations. SM is a lesson in meditation - till such time as you don’t understand your religion, your language you will not be able to experience its benefits. After learning SM you will be able to experience your religion. The divine experience we have received should be shared with others, it should be received by others – religion, language, color, caste and country does not matter – as divine experience is the same everywhere – there is no difference there. An illiterate person cannot read, till you receive the divine experience you cannot find benefit in reading religious books. In the Himalayas, the Kaivalya Kumbhak Yogis selected Pujya Gurudev to impart the knowledge of SM to society through Pujya Gurudev’s medium. While promoting SM you should talk about the method, vibrations, what changes SM has brought in you, then you can talk about the Trust, in how many countries it is practiced and lastly about Swamiji. Because without the divine experience nobody will understand Swamiji, hence it is necessary to first experience what is flowing from inside. Vithoba devotees go chanting “Panduranga Panduranga” – Vithal idol is black in color, but with the devotional chants it becomes white because they only look at the positive energy. When you do that only the positive energy will flow from you. You can do this from this GP – make a commitment. This year the Guru Energies have designated as Teachers Year – teachers are an important part of society distributing knowledge to lakhs of people. Programs for teachers have been held and they have taken the divine experience. Pujya Gurudev also celebrated teachers’ year by selecting spiritual teachers. He got in touch with different saints, munis, sadhvis and when the talk went to experience they all said that I have been doing so and so because my Guru told me to, I am running a hospital, school, college, etc but we have not received divine experience. Pujya Gurudev mentioned that a saint was involved in an accident and died of his injuries and that it was necessary for the aura of such saints to develop so that they could have a protective shield, hence shibirs for saints were now being held. He mentioned that in one shibir he met a saint who had reached up to the Agya chakra but could not go beyond. Swamiji took him up to the crown chakra and opened it, which gave him a beautiful experience. A sadhvi said that her Guru had given her a “gaddi” and she was sitting on it for the last 40 years, but she had not received the divine experience, which I cannot share with my disciples, please give me the divine experience. Two shibirs for saints have been held which have given me great happiness and bliss, both in Gujarat. In the first shibir a saint who had been meditating for 40 years asked me how I should progress, what is the most important question of my life. While sitting with him I realised that the saint was trying to obtain spiritual progress without a Guru, so he was reaching a high stage, which felt good, then came down, and he reached a peak and fell down time and again. It is like a game of snakes and ladders, each person is half white and half black, and once you go into collectivity then only is it possible to progress. The second shibir was held in June in Palitana for Jain munis. In this shibir the distance between me and the munis was just four feet – for energy to flow there has to be a distance between giver and receiver. The solution I found was that I went into meditation and took my higher bodies up to three stories high and then gave my discourse. I told them to repeat “I am a pure and pious soul” three times and then sit for meditation. Everybody received divine experiences as there was now distance for which energy to flow. If you do not get sleep at night, you can try this with the holy book “Adhyatmic Satya” – keep it a distance of ten feet from your head and go to sleep, you will be able to feel the energy which will put you to sleep. When you tell yourself that you are a pure and pious soul repeatedly, then slowly very slowly the dust which has settled on your soul starts getting cleansed and you really start perceiving yourself as a pure and pious soul. Because you think of yourself as a body you have problems which are related to the body, and when you tell yourself that you are a soul there will be a change in you. When this was done in collectivity it gave positive results. When you are saying that you are a pure and pious soul, do not get into a feeling of guilt, become like a child, think of yourself are a child for ten minutes. To experience God you need to become like a child, innocent – the way God made you! You do not have to become a sanyasi for spiritual progress. I was selected because I could go to society and could meet people. Keep Adhyatmic Satya ten feet from your head, the vibrations from the book will help you to sleep – try it. Secondly give ten minutes to yourself everyday thinking of yourself as a pure and pious soul. Once your soul is awakened, all physical failings will go away. Call yourself a pure and pious soul. Once you do that your soul will become purified and then it will become so strong that it will become your Guru. It will direct you – tell you what is right and wrong. While vibrating water I realised that the nabhi chakra of most participants is blocked – they are dissatisfied for some reason or the other. The Adhinath murti in Palitana – I told them that you do not have to ask for anything, you have to experience satisfaction, vibrations in the nabhi chakra. To do this become capable to receive first, as otherwise it has no meaning as you do not get the experience. There is no satisfaction in life. Pray that you get satisfaction as a soul and not as a body, as physical desires never end. With that the discourse ended with blessings to all. We then broke up for dinner around 7pm and reconvened at 8.30pm for the post dinner session. Pujya Guruma came to the sound of conches and then Shri Ambareeshji gave his speech on the scope of the National Organiser office. After that the cultural program took place with dances by various centers. A couple of dances depicting Lord Ganesha had tremendous energy and great vibrations. The first days’ session ended at around 10.30pm instead of the scheduled 9.30pm. Next day was the most important day in any sadhaks life hence I wanted a good nights’ rest. Because of the heat during the day and tin roofs to protect against rain along with hundreds of beds lying close to each other, the atmosphere in the residential tent was very hot and musty. By the time I changed and lay down it was 10.45pm, I prayed to Swamiji saying that He only could help me sleep in this heat. I closed my eyes and was out in a jiffy – my eyes opened at 2.50am. I got up and went for the morning ritual. The wash area was superbly organized and there was no rush, as I completed my morning rituals in about 40 minutes. I came back to my bed and sat down for an hours’ meditation. At 6am we went for breakfast before assembling in the sabha mandap at 7.15am. At 7.30am we have a meditation session conducted by Shri Rambhai. During meditation and deep breathing I could actually feel my nabhi going cold and energy flowing from my right hemisphere down the right side of my body. It was a feeling of pure bliss. Pujya Guruma and Pujya Gurudev entered the sabha mandap to the blowing of conches around 8.30am. Pujya Gurudev mentioned that the “mangal murti” in the Guru Shaktidham was an awakened one and you could get awakening by sitting in front of the murti. If you go there with physical problems you will get benefits at the physical level. But while entering the Guru Shaktidham if you balance yourself and go as a soul, you can experience the vibrations at soul level and feel the joy and bliss. You cannot experience this unless you are fit and prepared to receive. Energy centers are there all over the world, you have to become fit to receive. Each murti has been established to purify and give bliss and consciousness to sadhaks, but you will not receive unless you become fit for it. You have to go as a pure soul, if you are not fit to receive then today is the opportunity for you to wake up and realise that you are a pure soul. Because of your desire in your previous birth you have now received the experience in this birth. Progress is not possible unless you embrace the feeling of consciousness. I keep remembering you – recently an incident took place at Palitana. Munis, sadhus and sadhvis were sitting just four feet from me waiting to receive the vibrations. But I was not prepared to give but I require distance to give and because of lack of distance I could not give. For energy to flow there has to be a distance between giver and receiver. I receive energy for which I require space, because of the proximity, the solution I found was that I went into meditation and took my higher bodies up to three stories high and then gave my discourse. I told them to repeat “I am a pure and pious soul” three times and then sit for meditation. Everybody received divine experiences as there was now distance for which energy to flow. You all want to come close to me, there is danger when you come close to me, you can receive much better from a distance. If you have to receive you will have to go three stories down, your chitta has to go three stories down and surrender. Do not come close - because of your past karmas you have obtained proximity, you will have to absorb this and realise who you are and then only will you be able to receive, this is my experience. Gurucharan is very close to me, because I have not seen anything beyond Gurucharan. I have received everything and have no desires left. When you participate in the Guru Diksha function, you should participate as a soul – forget your body, you need to experience this – you need to feel in, this ordinary body – what is that energy which reaches lakhs of people. Eleven Gurus are always with me. I wish that you should go beyond this body and experience the energy of these eleven Gurus. I am non-existence, I am zero, this was experienced by the Jain munis. To experience this you will have to reach that state, all you have to do is to have a pure wish and feel that you are a pure and pious soul. The soul has no colour, state, desire, problem – it is a free state as a soul. It is my pure wish that you reach that state in this GP. GP is not the puja offered to a body, it is a puja offered to those eleven Gurus who are always with me in invisible form. Now machines have been developed which can see these energies. These energies start flowing into us and these energies one recognise. You examine for yourself how much you have surrendered to your Guru, then the Gurus condition will start flowing in you too with complete surrender. Have you surrendered completely, are you completely satisfied. The Guru is fully satisfied you too should be fully satisfied. I hear the Brahmanaad constantly, you should ask yourself, why can I not hear, am I not fully surrendered? Merging completely with the Gurus soul is Samarpan (surrender). There was a short break from 9am to 9.30am for freshening up before the start of the Guru Diskha function. At 9.30am Pujya Gurudev entered the sabha mandap to the blowing of conches. At 9.45am Rambhai evoked the Guru Avahan mantra and the commenced the Guru Diskha program. As the various mantras and invocations were made, the energy in the sabha mandap started increasing phenomenally. In fact it rained for a while, cooling the entire sabha mandap. The Gurucharan cleaning process was then started by two selected couples – the Chavan and Pagare couples to the accompaniment of the recital of the “Ganpati Atharvashirsha” in collectivity. The recital took place eleven times, during which time Pujya Gurudev’s feet were washed with honey, milk, ghee, curd and water (panch amrut). During the recital of the Ganesh mantra, my entire body was soaked in energy with the right hemisphere of my brain having gone completely cold, thus making my eyes shut and I was unable to open them because of the high energy levels. The process got completed by 12.25pm after which Arati was performed with lamps provide to sadhaks on a paper plate. There were more than 7000 sadhaks with more than 1000 new sadhaks taking diksha – so it was a beautiful, consciousness filled atmosphere as Arati was performed for our beloved Gurudev and the Guru shaktis present. After the Arati, the “namskar vidhi” started to the accompaniment of bhajans sung by Sumangala and Krishna Kahamankarji along with Anil Pagareji. Lot by lot the sadhaks got up quietly and paid obeisance to the “padukas” kept for the purpose. When my turn came I asked for having my chitta perpetually at Gurucharan, a “param shunya stithi” and dissolution of all negative thoughts. By 1.20pm we had finished and left for lunch. After the lunch Prasad, we went and sat down in the corridor outside the residential tent to take in the cool natural breeze which was blowing. At around 2.30pm I remembered that we had to book our return bus tickets so I headed to the transport desk. While going there I saw a whole group of sadhaks watching the live video feed from the sabha mandap and the volunteers at the donation counter also watching very keenly. Out of curiosity I too stood there to see what was happening. The live feed was showing Pujya Gurudev giving vibrations and clearing negative energies which seemed to have taken hold of a lady sadhika. I waited for about 30 seconds and left, as I felt it was too personal a thing which was happening between a Guru and His disciple. The sadhaks were watching something which by its very nature was negative and I would like to suggest that in the future, in the unlikely event, if something like this is repeated, the live TV feed should be cut of, and the sadhaks should not have their chitta placed on such very personal activity – to me it looked degrading, I am sorry to say. On the way back I met Naimisha Lalaji who gave me 6 complimentary copies of Madhuchaitanya to be distributed to the male Editorial Board members. I was wondering how I would meet these people individually in this large congregation, when I saw Trupti Kankani and handed over Pawanji Kankani’s copy to her, as I went ahead I spotted Chirantanji and I handed over his and Dr Paras Bhats copies. I knew where Dr IShnath was sitting and I went and handed over his copy to him – the only person left was Shrikant Parabji, and I as I walked a couple of steps in search of him and as I looked up there he was! I handed him his copy and my job of distribution was done in five minutes flat – this is how the energies work – you don’t have to do anything – they just happen! We lay down for some time and after the tea break we reconvened in the sabha mandap at 5pm. Pujya Guruma entered to the sound of conches at around 5.15pm and commenced her discourse. In her inimitable motherly loving style she told us that we should not let our chitta be divided. We should focus on only one thing if we want to progress. She mentioned that internal progress is possible only if we do not engage in useless talk. Guruma informed us that she would be taking a shibir for young mothers so that they could be taught things which are necessary to lead a happy, balanced married life after becoming mothers. She also informed us that she has nothing against English as a language, but children now-a-days communicate more in English rather than their mother tongue or the language of the state in which they reside. It is important to know your mother tongue, your national language and the language of the state in which you reside – after that your English written and spoken skills can be developed. After Pujya Guruma’s discourse we went for dinner at around 7pm and reconvened at 8.30pm for the cultural program. One thing I observed was that Dr Bhat / Hemaji, had to keep calling the sadhaks to come and sit in the sabha mandap within the given time lines. It is unfortunate that as sadhaks this has not been imbibed as a basic requirement – as time management for events of this magnitude are extremely important – and it is a matter of self-discipline that the sadhaks should take their seats without being asked to do so. At 9pm the cultural program started with the sadhaks from Ajmer performing a dance followed by Surat sadhaks performing a dance in praise of Durga mata. Sadhikas from Ajmer performed a dance in praise of Allah which was accompanied to great music – this dance had great energy with cold vibrations going up from my feet and exiting from the scalp. There was a sufi dance by sadhaks from Ahmedabad zone 3 which was beautiful followed by a beautiful skit showing “sabka malik ek” (God is one) – this was a superb rendition which very easily depicted the spiritual message that God may have different names and different religions but in reality it is one and SM only talks of one God. The last dance was by Ajmer sadhaks welcoming us to the Jaipur mahadhyan. The days’ program concluded with shanty path. I went back to the residential tent and was asleep by 9.45pm. My eyes opened at 1.50am (4th July) completely refreshed and I got up and went for a bath – as today was mahadhyan with Pujya Gurudev as we were told to assemble by 5.30am. By 2.30am I was ready and came and sat down on my bed. Dr. Ishnath in the meanwhile had returned from his bath and we both decided to go out into the corridor in the cool breeze for meditation and pranayam. We sat out till 4.30am, then went back and lay down on our beds. We went to the sabha mandap at 5.15am and sat down quietly. I closed my eyes and was in a short while in a good meditative state. At 5.30am Pujya Gurudev arrived to the blowing of conches, after which the Guru Ahavan mantra was chanted to the lead given by Shri Rambhai. Pujya Gurudev then gave a short discourse and started the Mahadhyan with the chanting of the Guru mantra. The energy and vibrations were very high – for 20 minutes or so I was out for the count with very cool circular vibrations taking place at the nabhi chakra and simultaneously the crown chakra feeling cool vibrations. My agya chakra continues to palpitate almost 24/7 thus keeping my chitta more or less always on the third eye or sahastrara. After 20 minutes or so I came out of meditation to the sound of continuous belches, snores and coughing from sadhaks in my immediate vicinity. After that I just shut my eyes and decided to soak in the energized atmosphere. At around 6.45am Swamiji said we should offer a prayer for Kutch which we did repeating the prayer voiced by Pujya Gurudev. The maha dhyan concluded with the recital of shanti path and then Pujya Gurudev left the sabha mandap. After a few announcements we were told to reconvene at 10am as speeches were to be given by Maduchaitanya team, Babaswami Multimedia team, Ayurveda chikitshala team and Anuragji and Ambareeshji outlining their areas of work, concept of feedback form and how it helps, and what they expected to do with the help of sadhaks. We then split for lunch and were asked to reconvene by 2pm for the last session. I submitted the feedback form which had been given to us duly filled. In the post lunch session, the Managing Trustee of YPBSST, Ms. Sharmila Patil introduced her team and said that each team member had been allotted an area of work and they individually would explain their scope of work. Each trustee then went about explaining their scope and how they proposed to streamline and manage the affairs of the Trust. I must congratulate Sharmilatai for doing a great job in assigning the work – thus fulfilling the first priority of her duties. As Managing Trustee she has to manage the trustees – which she has done brilliantly by allocating portfolios – all work gets done with the blessings of the Guru Energies and this too has happened so that the foundation stone can be laid down for improving systems and setting in place systems for the tremendous growth the Samarpan movement is going to see in the coming days. At around 3pm we were awaiting the arrival of Pujya Gurudev and Guruma. Suddenly I sensed their arrival as cold energy came and settled on the right side of my body caressing me – I turned to tell Harish that Pujya Gurudev would arrive in the next two minutes but his eyes were shut – so I shut my eyes and just enjoyed the blissful feel of the energy. In the next minute the conch shells sounded and Pujya Guruma’s arrival was announced and a minute later it was followed by the arrival of Pujya Gurudev. The question and answer session was then compered by Ms Ujwala Gadreji. All the questions were repeats of questions asked in earlier functions. During one answer Pujya Gurudev mentioned that when He wants anything accomplished he goes like a terrorist – going forward in 100% attack mode, in which case the person opposite always gives way whether it is a team or an individual. He mentioned He gives 100% to an individual sadhak also and while saying this there were tears in his eyes as I felt he was referring to the incident which occurred with the sadhika on GP day. The function concluded with shanty path and instructions to carry the mattresses and place them one on top of the other so that there is no burden on volunteers who stay back. We did this in the residential quarters too – and then changed, freshened up and went to collect out phones and Prasad. As the wait for our bus was long, we had our dinner at the bhojnalaya. We all got together and were waiting for our bus, which we ultimately got at 8.30pm. We reached the railway station at 10pm – just fifteen minutes before departure. The train left bang on time. As Harish did not have a reservation, he used the beddings he had got to sleep on the ground between the two seats. Pravin got off at Ahmedabad at 5 in the morning. We reached Mumbai at exactly 2.10pm and I was home by 3pm. All in all a wonderfully organized and planned event – once you removed your footwear you did not have to wear them again, as all the halls were internally inter-connected. Superb energy all round – with Swamiji’s quotes being displayed at regular intervals in the covered area. Looking forward to the next event, to bathe in the energy and consciousness - which gives such bliss and peace. Jai Baba Swami.

GANDHINAGAR MAHADHYAN 6TH MAY 2012

This was a totally unplanned visit which went off like Pujya Gurudev had actually called us – it went so smoothly and the incidents - small small incidents which occurred were just out of this world! In fact I had declined a facebook invite from the Samarpan Meditation group. Here is the story of how this transpired. I had another engagement at Pune which got cancelled at the last minute, which is on Thursday afternoon, 3rd May to be precise. I then called Shri Ramnath Kamath and asked him if he was willing to come as I planned to drive down from Mumbai, if I got the company. He said he will confirm within an hour. He had to visit Surat on office work from Monday, which got confirmed, so he decided to combine his Mahadhyan with office, so instead of leaving on Sunday for Surat, he decided to leave home on Saturday! I then called Deepak Tandon, he said he cannot make it but I should call Shri Ramesh Ganiga and ask if he would join. He said yes on the spot. Then I called Dr. Ishnath Singh who also confirmed and so did Shri Pravin Purav. We had a good team of five. I told Ramnath to use his contacts to book a hotel in Gandhinagar, which he proceeded to do. On Friday we got the hotel booking confirmation. On Saturday morning, I left home ten minutes behind my scheduled departure time of 6am after taking my mothers’ blessings. I called Pravin and he said he was walking along the street to the pick-up point and if if I take a slight detour I could pick him up instead of waiting at Sai Motors. I picked him at 6.25 or so and then called Dr. Ishnath and then Ramesh to say that we had left Andheri and they should also leave. In the meanwhile I called Ramnath and he said that he had already left and would meet us at Fountain. We reached the next pick-up point at Thakur village and we had just a couple of minutes of wait and Ramesh turned up at around 6.35am. By 6.45am we had picked up Ramnath who was already waiting at Fountain. As we reached Vasai, we saw Dr. Ishnath waving to us at around 7.05am and as he got in he said it is such divine timing as he had just reached the spot when he saw the car coming! He got into the car and we had a gala time sharing experiences and pulling each others’ legs. We halted at Kamath’s for breakfast at around 8.15am and left there at 8.45am with Ramnath taking the wheel. He enjoyed driving the XUV making full use of its features. With such great characters in the car we had an almost non-stop laughing session with tears streaming down and all of us holding our stomach with the laughing session going on full steam. Ramnath mentioned that Swamiji had said that good laughter also helps in clearing the aura. We reached Ahmedabad at around 2.30pm and had lunch there. We left for the Hotel Pathik Ashram using the car’s onboard GPS to track it down. When we reached the hotel around 3.45am, we realised to our utter surprise that the hotel was just 5 minutes walk from the ground where the Mahadhyan was to be held. This hotel was booked by Ramnaths cousin in sector 11 at the last minute! Ahmedabad was very hot and humid, and when we checked in the receptionist said that only one non-AC room was booked and not two as we had thought. I told the receptionist that it is not possible – it has to be two rooms. In the meanwhile Ramnath parked the car and came to the reception and said that his cousin had spoken to the manager. I told the receptionist that we had asked for two AC rooms, whereupon she said ‘ok’ – AC rooms were available! The manager then came and confirmed that he had taken the call and had booked two AC rooms at a discounted rate which was offered. We carried our bags up to the rooms and rested for an hour or so as we had planned to go to Akshardham in the evening. We had planned to reach Akshardham for the sound, light laser show at 7.30pm, but we reached only at 7.15pm so we decided to see the second show at 8.30pm. We booked the tickets and went in to see the temple – it was quite hot outside, but the moment we entered the temple sanctorum, the energy changed, it was markedly cooler. We went into the temple and paid obeisance to the golden idol of Shri Swaminarayan and then we went around the inside of the temple where in each corner an idol of each of the successors of Lord Swaminarayan were placed. As we walked past the back of the main idol, I felt a whiff of energy and turned back calling Dr. Ishnath and Ramesh who were close to feel the energy. With eyes closed we soaked in the energy as the vibrations coming were nice and cold. We then left the temple complex and had dinner and then left for the laser show. The laser show was awesome, something which should not be missed by anyone wanting to visit Akshardham in Gandhinagar. On a mystic full-moon night, where the moon shone more brightly than normal as it was closest to earth – it’s perigee – it is also called supermoon on this day and is great for spiritual progress and experience. We sat on the topmost bench of the amphitheatre taking a central view. The laser show was based on the story of Rishi Uddlaka and his son Natchiketa. The show was phenomenal with lots of Samarpan sadhaks present at the show. The end when Yamadoot shows his satvik avatar to Natchiketa and tells him that to obtain Brahmavidya he should go back to earth and find a living Guru….we all clapped loudly as we felt we were truly blessed to have the proximity of a living Satguru in our lives. The laser show ended with the spectacular show of the Kundalini shakti rising. There was great energy in the show with the sahasrar activated and the kundlini shakti jumping up and down every time the flames went up. It was beautiful…something one should definitely see. We left Akshardham at around 9.45 and retired for the night, as we had to wake up at 3am to get ready for the Mahadhyan. Next morning at 3am, I woke up and got ready as we had planned to leave by 4.15am to reach in time. I woke Ramnath up, he too got ready. I carried the meditation cushion with me as we would have to sit on the ground for two hours. The others had in the meanwhile got ready. We walked down and took an early morning walk to the ground. The roads were already crowded with the large number of people coming for the event. As we walked briskly towards the ground, we turned into the first entrance, which we were told was the VIP entrance, we said sorry and started walking to the end of the ground from where the general public was entering. We had covered about half the distance when Pravin came running after us saying that he had got 5 VIP passes which were handed over to him by a sadhak. Back we went to the entry from where we were first refused! We entered and were about to sit on about 5 rows behind when a volunteer told us to move ahead, we went to the end and got to sit on the first row, and that too bang opposite a giant screen which was put up for video display. This was as if Pujya Gurudev had carried us in his arms and made us come and sit right in front of Him – we all thought this was unplanned but we all got the feeling that this was all His doing – as they say “bulawa aaya tha!” in Hindi. I realised that there is no point in going prepared thinking about comfort as Pujya Gurudev made us sit in the VIP section which already had cotton mattresses laid out, hence my meditation cushion did not make any difference at all!! We sat down at about 4.40am prostrated to the subtle energy and I closed my eyes and sat down, after about fifteen minutes I felt a subtle energy and a cooling of the atmosphere and realised that Pujya Gurudev was about to enter the ground. Just as this thought came to my mind the conch played announcing the arrival of Pujya Gurudev. There was tremendous energy and the body had gone comfortably cold as we recited the GuruAvahan mantra with Shri Rambhai . As we said “Gurur Brahma, Guru Vishnu, Guru Devo, Maheshwara….” I felt my crown chakra activated and a subtle cool energy coming and sitting on the right hemisphere of my head. As Pujya Gurudev started his discourse, I sort of went into a trance. During his discourse he mentioned that he had recently been to Akshardham and that there was a black box behind Lord Swaminarayan’s idol which contained the ashes of a Saint which had tremendous energy. We got the answer from Pujya Gurudev as to the source of the energy which had drawn us back the previous evening! At exactly 6.30am Pujya Gurudev started the meditation session with the Guru Avahan mantra. I had my eyes shut soaking in the energy shower, there was a different aroma which I was getting, could not place my finger on it, but it was not something I had experienced before. I could feel my heart chakra spinning along with my crown chakra. It was all in all an unbelievable experience. The meditation ended at 6.45am with us saying a prayer along with Pujya Gurudev for the welfare of Gandhinagar and Gujarat. I prostrated as Pujya Gurudev left thanking his subtle body for the Grace showered on us on this day. In my estimate there were 25-30000 people who attended the Mahadhyan. There was great silence and discipline, a very well organized event, with the large projector screen the icing on the cake which should be followed for all the other Mahadhyans also. We subsequently left the ground after meeting a lot of sadhaks and friends. We had breakfast at the hotel, and then left for Mumbai at 9.30am. We reached Surat at 2.15pm where we had lunch and Ramnath got off to leave for his Surat office. The previous night I had called home and said that I should reach by 6.30pm. We left Surat at around 3.20pm and drove the 300km non-stop. I reached home exactly at 6.30pm after dropping everyone on the way back. This was a truly memorable trip as Pujya Gurudev had literally called us and carried us in his arms and taken us to the ground. Thank you Pujya Gurudev and all the Guru Energies for your infinite Grace…..Jai Baba Swami.

MEDITATION WITH SWAMI PREM PARASJI

Location: His residence at MHADA, Lokhandwala, Andheri West, Mumbai.
Time: 7.15pm to 9.15pm
Participants: Swami Prem Parasji, Ma Prem Sandeshji, Girish Borkar

Ma Prem Sandesh spread a carpet on the ground for us to sit comfortably. Swamiji then commenced the meditation by asking us to sit down comfortably with our eyes shut. After that he chanted the Guru Avahan mantra and as the chant commenced you could feel the energy flow as Guru Energies started descending into that room, the body felt waves of cold energy as the chant got over. He told us to sit comfortably, and as we sat He said put the chin on the chest so that it touched the thymus gland. After some time he told us to lie down if we felt comfortable that way. He said that there is no formality or set way of meditation for the Param followers, do whatever you are most comfortable, He said. I then stretched my legs and lay down on the ground.
Swamiji then started the deathless meditation process by telling us to feel that we were dead, family members were crying at our death, we should observe their grief, our body was becoming cold and senseless, and as He said that the body parts beginning with the feet started becoming numb, first the feet, followed by thighs, hips, torso, chest, arms, neck and head, all these parts had become numb, I could not move any of these parts – it was like we were actually dead. He then told us to feel that we were being taken to the morgue, that our bodies were being burnt/buried. The final rites were being completed, and then the relatives were returning home. We felt all this and were now “dead”. He said the body was just a temporary “serai” (guesthouse) and now go back home to the permanent source from where you had come and thank all the characters who had come into your life and bless and forgive all and seek forgiveness as each person was simply playing his/her role. There was tremendous peace and deep silence. There was total darkness as I felt I was going in a dark tunnel.

Swamiji then invoked on the energies of Shani Bhagwan, Lord Jesus and Lord Shiva the Lord of the Universe, these energies started descending in the room, which was already vibrant with Osho’s energy. As He invoked Lord Shiva in His hypnotic and magnetic voice, the chant of “OM NAMAHA SHIVAYA” started from deep within me, and then Swamiji also started the chant. I sensed I was Nandi, the Divine bull of Lord Shiva, in Lord Shiva’s presence and a feeling of being completely blessed went through me. There was an indescribable fragrance in the room, something not smelt before….not rose, not sandalwood, not jasmine but something really far more beautiful…

Swamiji then started telling us to feel each chakra being cleared and I could feel cold energy at the base of my spine rising upward. The spine had become cold and as He took each chakras name, the energy started going higher, I could feel the petals of my heart chakra open out with popping sounds, then there was heavy pulsating in my Agya chakra and a cold feeling on the crown chakra. In between He kept telling us to go deeper and deeper and witness what was happening. After some time (more than an hour had now passed – though it seemed just 15 minutes) he told us to slowly come out of meditation, there was so much energy in the room that the eyes refused to open. I sat up and my head dropped to my chest.

Swamiji was telling us that the objective of Param is to give the seed of enlightenment to whosoever wants it, the main objective was to unite all the positive forces under one banner so that they all work with a common purpose to attain Universal Peace and raise the Universal Consciousness levels which was what Paramatma wants accomplished. This is the dream of all spiritual Masters, Rishis and Munis as on one side humans are making atomic bombs to destroy humanity, we shall do the vice versa. By God’s Grace under Param (The Absolute) Foundation, we would endeavour to create enlightened super conscious atomic souls who would help raise the whole consciousness towards love and light. Then I was back in a sitting position as Swamiji, continued to tell us his plans for Param. He said that he will start in full force once he has ten Buddhas with zero desires standing with Him to accomplish Param’s objective. As He continued His discourse, I was still in a semi-conscious state and bent over once more to touch His feet, He said, it’s ok and patted my back and raised me up by my shoulders. As I sat down, I opened my eyes for a brief moment and I saw Him with both hands raised up palms outwards blessing us all, there was energy flowing from His palms and encompassing our beings, pushing us back a little. The pulsating energy flow was making one go back and forth – the energy now flowing was only that of Swamiji. He then told us that He had blessed us with the energy with which we could now ourselves bless others with the seed of awakening to those whom we think were ready to receive it by keeping our chitta at the Lotus Feet of the Guru. But this will take time to manifest as we will have to meditate and keep our chitta pure and desire-less. As he said this I could feel the energy descend on the right hemisphere of my head chilling it completely.

It was now past 9pm and He told us to come out of meditation, and we all prostrated in from of Him and surrendered all our past, all our negative energies at His Lotus Feet and sat up feeling totally blessed in the highly energized environment. We then prayed to Osho, all the deities present, to the trinity of Osho Mahavatar Babaji and Buddha in the living room. I touched His feet and He said “enough” and felt shy that we were touching His feet – He embraced me and then we left. An unique experience full of blessings and divine energies. Thank you Swamiji and all the divine Masters who had descended to bless us on this occasion.

Mahashivratri 2012 - PP Gurudev's Discourse

My Salutations to all the pure souls gathered here at the Ashram on the holy occasion of Mahashivratri.

Today’s program has great importance because today is Monday which is a good day, secondly it is the conclusion of the Deep Meditation Anushthan and thirdly the Samarpan Meditation movement completes 18 years today. 18 years ago promotion of Samarpan Meditation had commenced. From my point of view the movement has matured, it has become an adult. The way in which parents have expectations of their children on them becoming adults, like the children can now vote and behave responsibly. [At this point PP Swamiji got irritated as children were creating a ruckus – he said: parents keep your children quiet and stop them from creating a racket that is why we do not allow children below 12 into the Ashram]. The time has come now to tell you those points which I have not told anyone in the last 18 years. Like when you go to a railway station and sit alone – you do not have to go anywhere nor do you have to receive anyone – you just sit quietly at the railway station observing all the activities at the station. People come drop their friends/relatives and leave – you have no connection with anyone. Observe with a peaceful chitta – you are not going anywhere and no one is coming for you to receive them. Try and experiment in this manner, you will feel very relaxed. During these last 45 days this is the way in which I was observing the goings on with a peaceful chitta. I had peace of mind and I was watching people coming and going to the Ashram. In my room I was alone, so in solitude I thought why not make rooms with a single window for all sadhaks at the Ashram, so that they can come and stay in solitude for as long as they like. What happens in large cities is that they are affected by thought pollution as one’s aura and surrounding comes into constant contact with that of others. When that happens you start thinking, and those thoughts may not be yours at all, those thoughts may be because of the influence of people around you as their thoughts affect you. Secondly, I want to thank from the bottom of my heart all those who directly and indirectly helped me during the Deep Meditation Anusthan and also to congratulate them. In my home I had no control over my body – there was so much energy that I had absolutely no control over my body. Guruma used to come, cook and go in 2 hours, and I would not realise that she had come and gone. I was flying very high like a kite, Guruma brought me back. I got her help hence I came back just in time. The Kutch idol is ready and it has been given life force energy (pran pratishthapan). This is a very special medium - it has its own uniqueness. It has no personal identity - you will find yourself inside it. The Himalaya ka Samarpan Yog’s next volume has already been completed. I have written so many messages during this Anusthan because you wanted me to; it is your thoughts which made me write so many messages. Guruma is taking time to proof read the Himayala ka Samarpan Yog, as she goes into a trance while reading the book. If she takes so much time, I do not know how the other proof readers, translators, printers and publishers will take for this book to come to the sadhaks. Thirdly I came in contact with a lot of birds and came to know and realised that human birth only enables you to set and achieve targets, only man can aim for what he wants to become, in any other living being (other than humans), there is no plan, no target, no purpose. So even if our life is like those birds and animals – without purpose – then what is the use of this birth? We will come down to the level of those birds and animals. There is a banyan tree where I was meditating and I met Gurudev there, I asked Gurudev, “when will my sadhaks progress?” He replied, “as long as you do not place their true condition in front of them, they will not get the right direction. You forgive all the mistakes of your children just as a mother keeps forgiving her child thinking he will grow up and learn and she keeps turning a blind eye to all the mistakes. Similarly you forgive all the mistakes of your sadhaks and do not tell them the truth and wait for them to progress.” I thought that on the occasion of Mahashivratri, Shivji’s Shivlinga, you should get the message of the formless Paramatma. Why not tell you the truth.

If you have to know the truth, there are two types of sadhaks, you judge for yourself which you category you fall under. Most of them are like this, sadhaks come and meditate with their body, meaning, they are simply trying to concentrate and control their mind, meditation is not making an effort, meditation should occur automatically, we are trying to suppress our mind. You are just trying to tie the mind down during meditation, and with great difficulty you manage to tie it down and you expend your entire energy and strength in trying to tie the mind down; and when these forcefully tied down minds are free after meditation, then they become extra fickle. Your tied down minds’ condition subsequently becomes like that of a small child who hears the school bell ring at the end of the day, he leaves the class making a loud racket; and then the mind starts going into very small issues and then one does not know what kind of thoughts of the past begin to arise. This means you are meditating with your body. Thus your first step itself is wrong and everything else that you do is also wrong as your first step is wrong, thus you continue to go on the wrong path. When you reach a state thoughtlessness, then Samarpan Meditation begins. When you meditate with your body you only get ordinary benefits, does the ego dissipate? No! It just changes form, now you say you are a sadhak, the ego has just changed form! As long as you have a feeling of being a “doer” nothing can happen.

The other is forgiveness. How many of you sadhaks have forgiven everybody? Forgiving makes your chitta pure and chaste. You are not forgiving anybody. I come to know of what you are thinking of others – I know all this because of my connection with you through your first experience. You have not forgiven and you have an ego. Thirdly, have you accepted your situation in life? Do you accept both the good and the bad with equanimity? You cannot do this as your vision is very narrow. First learn to accept all the situations, you should be able to accept and if you learn this then only will you progress.

Next, many times in my messages I have written to you about women power, “Kundalinimata” is representative of” women power”. When you are on the spiritual path, your outlook towards women should be pure and that of respect, I cannot see that in your behavior. Women have not received that position in society which they deserve. When I talk of world progress and world peace, and if we exclude women, we are only talking of half the world. Half the world will be without this benefit, you should include them in this. When both the wheels – man and woman are imbalanced there will be no progress in society. Women are doing all the work which man does (in offices, in politics, in medicine, in research, in police, in army, etc) but they do not have the position which they should have rightfully. Women also work against women. Women complain the maximum against other women, there is no unity amongst women.

When you meditate with the body there will be limited benefits – you will feel good, you will have peace of mind, etc. If you look at Samarpan Meditation, you will realise that the situation with which Samarpan meditation started does not exist for you – it started in the Himalayas where there is no thought pollution. So why did Samarpan Meditation start? For the sadhaks to obtain liberation and this methodology was started with liberation as the only objective. Samarpan Meditation was started to obtain liberation – ask yourself how you came into Samarpan meditation. As soon as the discourse commenced your soul got control of the body, you are trying to control the body, which is not what I had taught. Your beginning was good with the experience which you got. But now you have gone on the wrong path. This meditation is to connect your soul with Paramatma. For an ordinary person this is to help have a good life. You have to keep telling yourself, reminding yourself, that you are a pure and chaste soul. On day a hen had come to the Ashram. A peacock’s egg was placed in her nest to hatch, which was dully hatched by her. The peacock baby was growing up till it say a group of peacocks which looked like her and the peacock kid then flew off with its own kind leaving the hen behind. You have forgotten the original soul experience, leave all your efforts and come back to the point that you are a pure soul. Secondly, why are you not holding on to the experience, that is the energy bridge by which you should reach Paramatma through feeling (“bhav”) – the greater the feeling, faster will you reach a meditative state.

There are some people in society who are complete atheists and are not connected to any medium but definitely have faith in the existence of some kind of a superpower. If by accident the medium of a superpower comes into the life of such an atheist and he gets an experience of the superpower then he can get connected to this superpower, because they are not connected with any medium and their slate is still clean. The theists accept God in one form or another. They get stuck to that form and see Paramatma in that form. Do not take hold of any kind of medium. Paramatma is formless and is Universal Consciousness which keeps changing form from time to time. Today our situation is like that of a person whose child was lost for the past twenty years, being searched with the aid of a photo made twenty year back. My dear! Now that child would have become a twenty year old youth, who you cannot identify now with the help of a photo clicked twenty years earlier. If you have to look for him today you will require his latest photograph. Similarly, how will we ever find “Parmatma” with a photo which is thousands of years old? Today’s “Parmatma” will also be an incarnation as per today’s modern age, then only will He be present today, now the question is, if one has to look for Him, how does one look, there is only one way and that is, in the presence of whichever living person your eyes close and your inner eye opens and the soul begins to experience “Parmatma”, then stop your search and seize that divine experience. Then your soul will begin to experience peace and make your soul your “Guru”, as “Parmatma” will give you future guidance through the medium of your soul.

Study all the religions, their Gods, their Saints – they all repeat the same things, Paramatma is one, Paramatma is one. This is humanity, do not speak evil, speak “good” always. All have said the same thing – speak good, do not talk evil of others, by doing this you slowly reach the soul level. Guru Energies have said this thing time and again that patience reduces as intelligence gets developed. The feeling of satisfaction also reduces with greater intelligence levels. Our kids are not as patient as their parents. If after telling you all this if there is no use then how will I light your lamp for which I have come? You have received knowledge of what is good and bad so that no you can know your own faults. Mediums always keep changing with the times. As it is, the Gurus body is ordinary just like that of a plain clothed policeman who is difficult to recognise in a crowd till such time you are not introduced to the policeman. The manner in which we recognise a policeman by his uniform, actually we do not recognise the policeman. The Gurus body is also ordinary, what makes the difference is “Godliness” which cannot be seen but can only be experienced.

The idols are being prepared and consecrated, books are being written and live events are being held – this is all being done for the next generation. You would have seen some painter, he has his own style, which shade to use and while doing this he begins to love his work more than his own life. He will give his all to a deserving and capable student; similarly a singer wants his art and work to outlive his life. He will give his everything, his entire knowledge, skills and techniques to a deserving student. In the same manner the Enlightened Masters in the Himalayas should pass on their knowledge to someone, and the work they could not accomplish, that should progress and that is why they have passed on their knowledge to this medium; and I also came into society to create/develop/train another medium so that it is passed on to the next generation. But I have not found anyone capable enough, hence I am preparing and consecrating idols as the mediums for tomorrow, some soul will come and develop the knowledge in those idols. You too can become a medium, but that is a log process. You have to become like a pipe – its uniqueness is that you put water from one end and it just passes through, you need to become empty and surrender. The word “Samarpan” is the prefix to the word “meditation” in “Samarpan Meditation”, meaning first surrender completely then you will reach a meditative state automatically. Do not make efforts at controlling the mind. You are a pure soul – accept that, once you do that the soul will control the body. Meditation should happen automatically, effort only controls the mind – some sadhaks know all this as meditation happens with a high state of mind which they have already reached. This is the second type of sadhak which I am going to tell you about.

These sadhaks have reached this high state with the expectation of getting spiritual powers. This can hurt you and I will tell you how. An astrologer told someone who had reached a high meditative state that he would die if he ever travels abroad. I used to tell this person to go – and if you go you can do Gurukarya, but he did not go and recently died. He had not travelled abroad at all and while dying he had the feeling of going abroad hence he will have to take re-birth to satisfy his dying thought. Siddhis (spiritual powers) cannot come just like that, even if you gain them you cannot exhibit them nor can you test them. You gain siddhis when you have the right feeling (bhav) and have reached the third level, as you progress and reach the fourth level you will gain siddhis associated with that level, but remember these siddhis come for your protection and not for you to misuse them. It is so, as the siddha purush knows that ordinary man lives half his life influenced by his past birth, and of the remaining half, half he spends sleeping, so man is left with one quarter of his lifetime to attain the “state of liberation”. Now this quarter he has to achieve everything, what a difficult target this is, but an ordinary person does not have this knowledge. Once you reach a high state of meditation you will not get stuck, you get protection and will always be protected. This happens automatically, but this should not be your objective. You can receive information about anyone by just sitting in one place, once you put your chitta on that persons’ aura you come to know everything about that person. This experiment was done by me in London live on TV some years ago, where I took calls and told people of their problems and the causes of those problems while sitting in the studio in London. I was introduced by the compere as a great “astrologer” from India.

Your life’s expectations will be fulfilled automatically; the end aim should not be to gain “siddhis”. There are some sadhaks who are doing this – this is not correct. Observe this and progress and do not get stuck on “siddhis”. Samarpan Meditation will progress based on what you consider yourself to be – a hen or a peacock. If you believe yourself to be a soul or body that is what will manifest – believing is a feeling of the soul. The more you develop this feeling the closer you will be to Paramatma. Paramatma has made a pathway to reach you through energy, through that path and with feeling you can reach Paramatma and after reaching Paramatma you can get that state – which is called “moksha” (liberation). Liberation does not mean death; liberation is that state of meditation which on reaching, in spite of the soul being in the body is freed from the defects of the body, body has no control over the soul and the soul gets full control over the body. Samarpan Meditation is that form of meditation in which you consider yourself to be a soul and thereby reach Paramatma and receive His experience. Meditate regularly, in collectivity and at the center because you are staying in a society which has negative thoughts which affect your way of thinking. Every act, every work which we do we do it for getting satisfaction, satisfaction is the target. You get greater satisfaction when the benefits of your work reach more and more people. When we work for society, any particular society, if we do it based on language the benefits reach the people who understand that language, if we do it for the country then it benefits the entire country. Gurukarya is the kind of work which reaches all people in the world - it has its own network. You will get the satisfaction that the Gurukarya which has been done through your medium has reached a lot of souls. Do Gurukarya with good feeling, as a soul and in collectivity – these are all matters which will develop the feeling of the soul. This is natural as it benefits all humanity.

The other name for Shiva is “truth”. Truth is not bound by language, country, color or state, it is that experience of God which connects all people in the world. Experiences are not different as Paramatma’s love is universal in the form of energy. Samarpan Meditation is the only group which is based on experience of a (one) unique kind. Remember how you obtained your first experience, start experiencing the same again and revive that feeling. Put your chitta on that experience. I won’t tell you what is good or bad in you. Firstly you are a pure soul and secondly you have received Paramatma’s experience. All you have to do is progress - you will have to be a soul and not a body. How you believe yourself to be, based on that, you will experience the change accordingly. The soul does not dissipate thoughts, problems, worries, etc, as all problems are connected with the physical body. You pray for very small things of Paramatma and these are all fulfilled, but all this is temporary. More wants and desires keep coming and you are never satisfied. If you have to get satisfaction, it has to come for the soul. Hence on the holy occasion of Mahashivratri if you commence your practice of believing yourself to be a soul you will definitely progress in Samarpan Meditation and will not ask for siddhis! Thus slowly and surely you will lead a fully satisfied life. This is the need of the day.

In Germany I had met a sadhika who was connected at the soul level with her Guru but could never meet him personally because of the Trustee. When I heard that, I had decided that whenever Samarpan forms a Trust, I would put a limitation of 3 years for the Trustee to do his work and then new one’s would be selected. From April 1 the Trustees will change, and I have been given the job of informing you about the names of the new Trustees:

SSAT Trustees: Mr. Jitendra Patwari,(Vadodra) – Managing Trustee
Mr. Yogesh Trivedi, (Surat) – Trustee
Ms. Atalben Sharma, (Rajkot) – Trustee

YPBSST Trustee: Mrs. Sharmila Patil, (Mumbai) – Managing Trustee
Mr. Ramchandra Kamath, (Goa) – Trustee
Mr. Anil Pagare, (Mumbai) – Trustee
Mr. Lokesh Joshi, (Kutch) – Trustee
Mr. Vibhav Parikh, (Mumbai) – Trustee
Mr. Sanjeev Agarwal, (Mumbai) – Trustee

Before leaving the stage, PP Gurudev advised us to do our work peacefully. To achieve a good state you should try and attend all the Mahadhyan programs which come one after the other starting with Mumbai, Rajkot and then Gandhinagar. When you go in collectivity there is great progress. Commit yourself to meditate on every full moon day (Purnima). With lots and lots of blessings to everyone.
