The long awaited event was at last round the corner. Because of the Diwali season railway tickets could not be booked. When I had booked the tickets, I had 8 seats available and after the payment went through the tickets were wait-listed. I spoke to the rest and we all decided to cancel the tickets. I heard that Pujya Swamiji had mentioned that “baraati sabh tayaar hue hain par dulhe ki hi ticket nahi hui hai” (the marriage party is ready with confirmed tickets but the bridegroom does not have a booking)! In this scenario I had decided to drive down from Mumbai. I had four sadhaks with me and I had promised Ramaniji that on the return trip he could join us. The Guru shaktis also pitched in and Pawan who was to originally come with us said he could not make it due to office pressure and his brother Krishnamurari would join in his place.
