Awakening Your Inner
Religion
The spirituality of the self through spiritual awakening refers not to the
religion of a person but to the consciousness or awareness of being, the realisation
that one exists.
As we are born as human beings, the only religion that we must consider
as ours is humanity. All others are nothing but forms of worship – they are
paths with guidelines to reach your inner religion. With time the purity of the
various saints that gave rise to the religions have messed around with the
original purity and documented the thoughts and sayings to form different
religions. The Abrahamic religions are based on what is written by people who
did so as per their understanding – over time these religions have become means
to seize power and control over the minds of their followers. The results of
the same are there for all to see today.
The ancient civilizations that worshipped nature like the Mayans, the
Incas, the Red Indians, the Druids, the Aborigines, the Adivasis (still present
in interiors of India) were all in tune with nature and their inner self.
Today, that purity has disappeared what with the various invasions and
conquests by the Arabic and European nations over time and we are left with
nothing but methods of worship which don’t show us the actual path towards the
inner realisation.
In India, we have realised Masters who have experienced the ‘truth’ and
are spreading the message globally – awaken your inner religion, give rise to
the human being in you, let humanity become your religion as love and
compassion become your true nature.
Mass awakening is taking place all over the world – people are following
realised Masters and learning yoga and meditation which lead to your inner
discovery of the self.
Once the process starts under the guidance of a realised Master, the
inner transformation begins, the desires start fading away, the negative
emotions start evaporating and ultimately the ego itself dissolves leaving one
in a continuous state of awakened awareness. This conscious awareness of every
moment without any attachment or emotion keeps you in the present moment.
One begins to live one’s life literally in the moment – the mind remains
in the moment; it has stopped vacillating from the past into the future – it remains
steady in the now. This heightened state of awareness means that your inner
religion has been awakened. You are in the now, you are the now.
