Beyond the Mind
The ‘truth’ is beyond the mind. That ‘something’ that
is looking into the mind for answers is you – the physical entity. If one wants
to really know if their journey to discover the truth is headed in the right
direction, you can ask yourself this question, “Is my love and compassion for
my fellow human being expanding?” If the answer is yes, then by all means stay
on the path. If not, if your love and compassion is reserved only for a chosen
few then you might want to look over some of the beliefs assumed.
Our mind can understand everything that is external to
the body. The mind discerns everything that is objective: science, technology,
finance, theology, philosophy – these are all mind-oriented. But that which is
within is behind the mind, beyond the mind and is not easily accessible. The
state beyond the mind opens up only on regular practice of meditation and with
one’s Satguru’s Grace.
The reason our capacity to love becomes limited is
that the mind divides. It breaks down what is experienced by way of its limited
perceptions. It categorises what is experienced and we form conclusions and
beliefs based upon these misperceptions. This mind is a tool we use to
understand the world around us. Unfortunately, it is not equipped to see or
experience the big picture, the whole picture, but you are, you have inherited
that ability.
As we begin to see more clearly, recognise
and validate our own inherent truth or knowingness, we come to realise this
inherent truth has no limitations and encompasses so much more. In various ways
and degrees, we begin to see beyond the mind and its limitations and experience
life more holistically. This results in our affinity for all of life around us
expanding including greater understanding, love and compassion for our fellow
man.
That which is unique is not easy to get, one has to
work hard at it, one has to literally empty oneself of all the muck accumulated
over several births. Meditation is the process of emptying oneself gradually.
This state reveals itself when one starts dropping one’s thoughts and relaxing,
going deeper and deeper, and reaching the state where only the witness remains.
The body is now far away and is no more you, the mind is just an echo in the
valleys, and is no more you.
In this state, in the innermost core of your being
there is no thought, just a stupendous, calming silence. In that resounding
silence one is closest to the divine giving rise to an authentic understanding.
That silence is a bridge, a path, a connection to the ultimate source of light –
universal consciousness.

Nicely explained. Each word in each sentence actually needs to be seeped in to the inner core... 🙏🙏
