Money Can’t Buy Life

Many of us make it big in life, some from not so good beginnings and some who have a head start over others – they all achieve a degree of success in their lives. There are many others who do not succeed in spite of their best efforts. Here, we will just discuss those who succeed in life and how they approach their ‘success’. Most of the people whom I know who began from a humble background think that money is everything, in fact with money in their bank accounts the ego grows 10x and they feel money is everything. A few from this category remain humble and rooted to the ground and treat money and wealth as God’s grace and help those who need it – a portion of their surplus is shared with those who need it.

There are others, those who have had wealth in their family (old money as it is called) and just take advantage of the head start and fly away into successful careers, most of this category of people are level headed and view money as a means to an end and not the end in itself.

It is a law of nature that whatever is in surplus has to be shared and if it is not shared then circumstances occur which take away the surplus whether you like it or not. Many times, you will observe that ill gotten wealth is spent on hospital bills, legal costs, etc – you do not ENJOY it – it gives you more stress than solace!

Bob Marley the Jamaican musician and singer grew out of extreme poverty and made music his medium to rise above poverty – when asked he would say, “Does money make you rich, I don’t have that type of riches! Can money buy you life?” Whatever money he made out of his music he would give away to the poor in his village for their education and upbringing. This puts everything in perspective – Can money buy you life? No, it cannot. Money is only the means to an end, use it for the betterment of society.

With meditation and the development of your navel chakra your tendency to give selflessly gets enhanced. The more you give the more you get and the cycle continues. As you rise higher with the purification of your chakras you notice that your being now radiates with love and harmony. There is a peaceful atmosphere around your being, that peace and love is felt by those in your proximity. Deep within you, you know that money is just man’s creation or convenience for living life in society – the real wealth is the peace and golden silence deep within you. Find that wealth and then soak in it, a person does not need anything else, believe me!
