MAHASHIVRATRI – 2020 21.2.2020, Dandi Ashram I left for Dandi on 19 th morning along with Sridhar Mani from Bangalore whom I picked up from Mumbai domestic airport at around 7.30am. It was a very peaceful drive and we stopped for breakfast at Silver Miles restaurant. After breakfast, we again drove on peacefully till we reached Vapi around 9.30-9.45. The bridge at Vapi was being repaired and half the carriageway going towards Gujarat was blocked. There was a massive traffic jam as people tried to squeeze in from the left in their vehicles. I too was in the left lane as the right lane was not moving at all – as I edged towards the top of the bridge, I realised why – one of the workers had blocked the road with a red plastic barrier and was just letting one vehicle at a time pass by. After seeking help from Bansariji got to my bedding area. After depositing my bag and getting fresh I went have prasad. Already there were a lot of people in the Ashram and it was abuzz with activity in complete anticipation of the prospective shower of consciousness starting the next day. The 6 th was bright and sunny and very pleasant weather. A meeting was called for by Swamiji to discuss the programme and review the arrangements made. We did a tour of the entire Ashram, first going to the gents’ accommodation, the ladies accommodation, the main pandal, the kitchen and then the VIP accommodation. After doing a complete round we sat in the main pandal for some time discussing issues. ...
