SAI BABA SAMARPAN DHYAN MAHA SHIBIR, SHIRDI : 18TH MAY TO 25TH MAY 2013

Image
I had been looking forward to this Shibir since the day it was announced. The moment the circular announcing the dates became public in March, I booked five hotel rooms at Sai Palace Budget, Shirdi, as one of the owners was a classmate of a very good friend of mine. This hotel is exactly opposite Gate number 2 to the Sai Temple and is very conveniently located. There was brouhaha over the organization of the event, with a lot of circulars going back and forth. Ultimately the Guru Energies did their work, which mere mortals should realise that the energies are far superior to our ‘tiny’ egos (in comparison to the power of the Guru Energies). I was to leave with Anant Khamankar and family and Pravin Puravji on the morning of the 18 th , but as they were co-opted onto the emergency committee, I had to look for alternative companions for the drive to Shirdi. I then travelled with three sadhikas from Vakola center and one from CIFE. We left at 6.30am and reached the hotel at around 1...

GURU PURNIMA – KUTCH SAMARPAN ASHRAM – 2ND TO 4TH JULY 2012

_/\_ || JAI BABA SWAMI || _/\_ I left home at 2pm after taking my mother’s customary blessings for Bandra Terminus. I reached Bandra Terminus at 2.30pm. The train was at the station and one could see a lot of familiar faces boarding the train, which was probably full of sadhaks. I entered the compartment and when I went to my seat I saw that Harish Rao had already arrived. The train left at 3.05pm instead of 2.50pm. Just before it left I got a thought that should I get down and push the train, as that thought crossed my mind, I got a call from Ramnath Kamath and the first thing he said was, “train ko dhakka marne aaun kya?” (should I come to push the train). It reached Borivali at 3.30pm wherein Ramnath Kamath, Pravin Purav and Deepak Tandon joined us. We were discussing the state of the country, politics etc and then the discussion veered to spiritual experiences. A lady from Dadar center – Deepa Sawant – was sitting in the aisle seat and who joined in the discussions. As the experi...

Chaitanya Samarpan Dhyan Mahashibir – 7,8,9 November 2011 at Rajkot

We had booked flight tickets for Rajkot almost two months ago. There were five of us initially, of which three dropped out due to personal reasons and only Deepak Tandon and I took the flight. We met a sadhak couple from Juhu center, who were on the same flight. We landed in Rakjot at 6.15am and took the hired cab to the Ashram situated at Sindhavadar which is about 50km from the airport. The drive took us just over an hour. Just as we neared the Ashram, I saw a huge “Trishul” formed in the clouds, which was welcoming us into the presence of divinity. We reached the Ashram at around 7.30am, registered at the registration counter and went into the residential tent. The tent was huge, with the capacity of accommodating 4320 sadhaks. The Ashram land had been acquired only on September 5, 2011 and PP Gurudev’s residence was constructed in exactly 57 days, and co-incidentally this was PP Gurudev’s 57th birthday. The Rajkot sadhaks, under the very able guidance of Ms. Jigna Gohil (Presiden...
