Dandi Ashram, Navsari, 24 th February, 2017 We were to be nine sadhaks travelling to Navsari on 23 rd , but in the end two dropped out and two decided to travel late in the evening, as a result our two cars reduced to one and we had a pretty comfortable journey. I left home at 5.07 am and picked up Deepaliji and Harishji at 5.23am (8 minutes behind schedule). I had requested Umeshji to be ready on the highway at Mira Road at 5.45am. I reached the spot at 5.40am, ahead of schedule and we waited for Umeshji who came bang on time. We got stuck at the Vasai creek bridge for about 15 minutes and then we were on our way to the Ashram. We got very heavy traffic and weaving through the traffic made the going a bit slow. I had factored this parameter into the travel time and had informed our fellow sadhaks that we would reach the Ashram by 10am. On February 1 all those who had deposited cash of more than Rs. 250000 in OLD CURRENCY between the designated dates received the following notices from the Income Tax Department: "Income-tax Department (ITD) has received 1 information record(s) showing total cash deposits of Rs. xxxxxxx relating to you. The marathon theme This year was the fourth year the Samarpan Family was taking part in the Marathon. Yoga Prabha Bharati (Seva Sanstha) Trust (YPBSST) got itself registered with United Way of Mumbai, the charity partner for the movement for the fourth year running, and this time we were given 30 charity bibs based on last year’s collections and we also got one premium bib for achieving level 1 based on their internal selection parameters. We had dropped down in the average collection per Bib and hence we got lesser bibs; also the enthusiasm which is seen in participation on the event day is unfortunately missing when it comes to fundraising!! We also had made a team under the able guidance of our Corporate Acharyaa, Ms Ruchita Dalal and Shri Malav Doshi to participate in the Jabong Costume/Skit Contest and in setting up a stage for promoting Samarpan Meditation. 7, 8, 9 November, 2016….Samarpan Ashram, Dandi, Navsari, Gujarat We had decided to leave for Dandi at 6.30am on 7 th but postponed it slightly as Sridhar Maniji’s flight from Bangalore was to land at 6.50am. I left home at 6.30 and first picked up Prabha Rao from Vakola and then Harish Rao from the domestic airport. While I was at Bandra Sridhar called saying his flight had landed. After picking up Sridhar, I called Deepaliji and told her that we were leaving and should be at Borivali by 7.15am. We reached there at around that time and within a few minutes Deepaliji also arrived. With all on board we left for the holy land and for Divine Birthday Celebrations…… 3 days of bliss. We halted at Datta’s for hot kanda poha and thali peeth accompanied by tea. After a 40-minute halt, we left for Dandi and reached comfortably by 11.15am.
