Indescribable Love Lies Within

We all have been seeking love outside, whether it is in people, pets or things. We have always been seeking security outside. Selfless love is one thing but most of us turn our love into a bond, into a binding, and when that happens it is like putting shackles on our own self!

There is someone deep within us who is caring for us every second of our life, who is loving us all the time. We can only find that person, that pure love, if we start seeking deep within ourselves. The thing is that the more we look for that love outside, the love within moves further away from us.

In fact, if you fail to get love outside then it is a golden opportunity to seek that love within, the search will take you deep within yourself. Meditation helps in turning your focus inwards in search of that love. Untold treasures lie within, unfortunately all our lives we look for treasures outside and all that we seek are nothing but gadgets which give us material comfort which end of comforting and massaging our own ego!

When all else fails we turn to God, similarly when we seek love we ultimately turn to the source of all love in the universe. That love is perennial, it is flowing continuously in nature, in universal consciousness, in the divine energy which we can tap once we turn inwards.

In a way the Divine is loving you and pointing you inwards, guiding you deep within to the source of all love, maybe that is why you cannot find that love outside, maybe your time has come to find that indescribable love right within you yourself! Accept that, don’t feel sorry or disappointed and dive headlong into the inner journey; once you get the feel of it, after all the known challenges that you surmount once you start meditating, then you will find yourself coming closer to the Divine.

You are being prodded into the Divine Presence, consider yourself lucky and go along for the ride. Once we feel that Presence within us, where is the need for comfort or love from anyone else? The Comforter is within you – all other comforts are temporary and ephemeral – they come and just disappear in front of us, leaving us disappointed and sad.

We are nothing but pure love ourselves – just find that pure love within, merge with it and your whole being will reflect it. You will become love and the change will be visible to those who are in touch with you. You will start receiving compliments on your radiance and how people find peace in your presence. When this happens just realise that it is the Divine within you and not YOU. Accept that with gratitude and humbleness, else your ego will raise its head, and it will be back to square one!
