Stillness, Exuberance
and Intoxication
In the vast landscape
of spirituality, there exist three profound states of being: Stillness,
Exuberance, and Intoxication. Each of these states holds its own unique
essence, offering a gateway to deeper understanding and enlightenment.
Stillness is the
tranquil oasis amidst the chaos of life, where the mind finds peace and the
soul finds solace. It is the state of inner calmness, where all distractions
fade away, and we are left with nothing but the pure essence of our being. In
the stillness, we connect with our true selves, tapping into the infinite
reservoir of wisdom that lies within. It is in this sacred space of stillness
that we can hear the whispers of our soul and commune with the divine.
Exuberance, on the
other hand, is the overflowing fountain of joy and vitality that springs forth
from the depths of our being. It is the ecstatic dance of life, where every
moment is filled with vibrant energy and boundless enthusiasm. In the state of
exuberance, we are fully alive, embracing each experience with open arms and a
joyful heart. It is a celebration of existence, a recognition of the beauty and
wonder that permeate every aspect of creation.
Intoxication takes us
beyond the realm of ordinary consciousness, into the realm of divine ecstasy.
It is the intoxicating elixir of love and bliss that floods our being, leaving
us intoxicated with the divine presence. In this state of intoxication, the
boundaries of the ego dissolve, and we merge with the infinite ocean of
consciousness. It is a state of complete surrender, where we lose ourselves in
the divine embrace and experience union with the ultimate reality.
Together, these three
states form the tapestry of spiritual experience, weaving together the threads
of stillness, exuberance, and intoxication into a vibrant mosaic of
consciousness. They remind us that spirituality is not a linear journey but a
multidimensional exploration of the depths of our being.
In the practice of
meditation, we cultivate stillness, allowing the mind to settle and the heart
to open. Through mindfulness and presence, we learn to dwell in the moment,
embracing each experience with equanimity and grace. In the state of stillness,
we discover the inherent peace that resides within us, transcending the
fluctuations of the external world.
Yet, stillness is not
the end but the beginning – the fertile ground from which exuberance and
intoxication spring forth. As we delve deeper into our spiritual practice, we
awaken to the exuberant joy of being alive, celebrating the miracle of
existence with every breath. And in moments of profound surrender, we taste the
sweet nectar of divine intoxication, losing ourselves in the blissful embrace
of the divine.
Ultimately, stillness,
exuberance, and intoxication are not separate states but interconnected aspects
of our spiritual journey. They are the three pillars that support the temple of
our awakening, guiding us towards the realisation of our true nature. In their
embrace, we discover the infinite depths of our being and the eternal presence
of the divine within us.
