Breaking all Boundaries

Breaking all boundaries is the essence
of true spiritual liberation. Shivkrupanand Swamiji teaches that the
limitations we experience in life are not imposed by the universe but created
by our own minds. These boundaries exist in the form of attachments, fears,
conditioned beliefs, and the ego’s resistance to surrender. As long as we
remain confined by these self-imposed limitations, we continue to experience
suffering, separation, and an incomplete understanding of our true nature. The
path of spiritual awakening is about dissolving these barriers and realising
our infinite potential as divine beings.
From the moment we are born, we are
conditioned to believe in boundaries - between the self and others, between the
material and spiritual, between possible and impossible. These divisions create
conflict and keep us trapped in a limited perspective of existence. Swamiji
emphasises that the true nature of the soul is boundless. When we enter the
state of deep meditation, we experience this directly. In that space of
stillness, there are no divisions, no limitations, only the vast expanse of
consciousness that pervades all existence. Meditation becomes the key to
breaking free from the illusions of separation and uniting with the infinite.
One of the greatest boundaries we create
is the false identity of the ego. The ego constantly reinforces the idea of ‘I’
and ‘mine,’ leading to attachments, desires, and suffering. It builds walls
around the heart, preventing us from experiencing the true essence of love and
unity. Swamiji teaches that surrendering the ego is the first step toward
breaking these boundaries. When we let go of our rigid self-identity and
dissolve into the flow of universal consciousness, we begin to experience the
oneness that transcends all limitations. This surrender is not about losing
oneself but about realizing that we were never separate to begin with.
Another boundary that limits us is fear
- fear of the unknown, fear of failure, fear of loss. Fear keeps us trapped in
small, repetitive cycles, preventing us from stepping into the vast
possibilities of existence. Meditation helps us dissolve these fears by
connecting us to the eternal, unchanging presence within. When we experience
that divine stillness, we realise that nothing in the external world has the
power to confine us. Swamiji’s teachings encourage us to embrace the unknown,
trust the divine flow of life, and move forward with courage, knowing that the
universe always supports those who surrender completely.
The boundaries of the material world
also limit our understanding of reality. We define ourselves by our physical
existence - our name, body, possessions, and achievements - without realising
that these are temporary aspects of life. True liberation comes when we break
free from identification with the material and recognise our eternal nature.
Meditation allows us to transcend the limitations of time and space, giving us
glimpses of our infinite self. When we detach from the temporary and align with
the eternal, we no longer feel restricted by worldly concerns. Instead, we live
with a sense of freedom, knowing that we are part of something far greater than
our individual experiences.
Breaking all boundaries does not mean
rejecting the world but expanding beyond its limitations. It means embracing
life with an open heart, without fear or attachment. It means seeing beyond
differences, realising that we are all connected by the same divine essence.
Swamiji teaches that when we break the boundaries of judgment and separation,
we begin to see others as reflections of ourselves. Love flows effortlessly,
compassion arises naturally, and life becomes a harmonious experience rather
than a struggle.
Ultimately, the journey of breaking all
boundaries leads us to the realisation that we are not separate from the
universe - we are the universe. The barriers we perceive are mere illusions
created by the mind. Through meditation, surrender, and inner transformation,
we dissolve these illusions and step into our true nature - limitless, eternal,
and one with the divine. This is the ultimate freedom, the state of complete
spiritual liberation that Swamiji guides us toward. When we break all
boundaries, we do not become lost; we become infinite.
