Everyone is a Seeker
Everyone is a Seeker
Every soul that takes birth upon this
earth arrives with a singular, underlying impulse: the longing for liberation,
or moksha. Regardless of whether a person calls themselves spiritual,
religious, or purely materialistic, the restlessness in every human heart is
fundamentally the same. Every pursuit of happiness, every ambition, and every
search for peace is simply the soul seeking to break free from limitation.
Without exception, everyone is a seeker.
The journey begins long before the
physical form appears. Driven by cosmic law, the soul deliberately chooses its
parents and circumstances. This choice is neither accidental nor arbitrary. It
is meticulously aligned so that the soul's accumulated prarabdha karma - the
specific balance of joys and sorrows, trials and triumphs - can be experienced,
exhausted, and balanced in the most constructive manner possible. Birth into a
specific family, culture, and environment provides the exact crucible necessary
for the soul's refinement.
In the earliest stages of infancy, the
doorway to eternity remains slightly open. For the first three to four years of
life, a young child often retains vivid glimpses of past lives, carrying
memories and subtle impressions across the threshold of rebirth. Yet, in our
conditioned world, well-meaning but unaware parents dismiss the child's
spontaneous revelations, unusual behaviours, or memories of "another
home" as mere toddler fantasy or gibberish. Gradually, under the weight of
socialisation, identity formation, and worldly conditioning, the child forgets
its origins. The veil of Maya descends, and the soul becomes ensnared in the
dense karmic web of the present lifetime.
Yet, that sacred thirst never completely
vanishes. It remains dormant beneath the clutter of worldly pursuits.
This is where individual trajectories
diverge: some seekers compromise, while others persist.
The majority compromise. As life
presents its comforts, distractions, social pressures, and heartbreaks, they
settle for half-measures. They trade their innate hunger for liberation for
temporary security, material status, or intellectual debates. By compromising
with illusion, their spiritual momentum stalls, and they gradually slide back
down the ladder of evolution, accumulating more karmic baggage that binds them
to yet another cycle of birth and death.
The persistent seeker, however, refuses
to treat the inner void with outer bandages. Guided by the subtle, indelible
impressions (samskaras) of past spiritual efforts, a persistent seeker
recognizes that the world cannot offer true fulfilment. This inner persistence
creates an irresistible magnetic pull, drawing the seeker out of the maze of
karma and toward genuine truth.
When persistence reaches its peak, grace
manifests as the physical presence of a living, self-realised Master. For
countless modern seekers, this turning point arrives through Swami
Shivkrupanandji. A true Guru does not bind you with complex dogmas or rigid
rituals; He acts as an open mirror of pure consciousness.
Through Himalayan Samarpan Dhyanyog,
Swamiji introduces the seeker to effortless meditation - a pure energy
transmission rooted in self-surrender, innocence, and direct connection with
the divine universal energy. Swamiji’s guidance provides the persistent seeker
with the exact spiritual anchor needed to transcend the traps laid out in early
childhood. Under His protective aura, the seeker learns to let go of mental
conditioning, balance remaining karmas with equanimity, and steadily climb the
rungs of higher consciousness.
Liberation is not an elusive mystery
reserved for ascetics in caves. It is the birthright and original destination
of every soul. The world will constantly offer compromises, tempting us to fall
asleep once more. But for those who choose persistence, heed the call of their
ancient soul, and hold the hand of a realised Master, the journey from karmic
entrapment to absolute liberation becomes a living reality.
