Mystery within a Mystery

Such is life! Mystery wrapped up in a mystery. Why am I here? Where have I come from? Where am I headed? These are eternal questions which one asks when one realises that life is not just about living for desires and achievements – it has a far deeper meaning than what appears on the surface. We all are living life superficially in a dream-state. Our wants, our desires, our loves, our attachments, our anger and hate all this actually defines who we are today.

We have no inkling as to our true reality. As Nisargadatta Maharaj said, “I AM THAT” – each human being's search since birth is for that elusive THAT! We all forget our true purpose for taking birth and get stuck in the wheel of life – paying off karmic debts and accumulating new ones till we reach a stage where we feel we have achieved everything in life and now need to move on.

Life’s mystery of living has been experienced, now onto the mystery within the mystery. The search for the self, the soul, the atma begins. The search for the ultimate truth begins. Some souls who are born in an advanced state soon find their Master, Guru, Guardian angel or whatever name you want to give this exalted person is fine – he guides you to face life, pay off your karmic debts and teaches you how to stop accumulating new debts. Once you learn to do that it can be said that you have ‘arrived’ at the entrance to self-discovery. The inner journey now begins.

By doing all our work selflessly, without any attachment then the karma of the work done does not get credited to our account. By meditating regularly under the guidance of a realised Master, we develop an aura or electromagnetic field around us which does not allow us to do/say/think anything wrong. In this manner no negative karma gets debited to our account. When our account is without any debits and credits, we become karma-free, living in the moment in total peace with ourself, completely in sync with nature.

In this state we embark on our inner journey of unwrapping the mystery within the mystery. This is a journey which never ends, it only opens newer and newer dimensions which keep expanding your inner-knowledge horizon. Things start happening in a serendipitous way and we get the sense that the universe is now taking care of us.

Unravelling the mystery within is an unending joyous search which leads to bliss, joy, inner peace and calm and enables us to live in the moment in a state of utter calm, in tune with nature, amidst all the chaos in the world yours will be the island of love, peace and compassion!
